The Centre provides Oxygen therapy to those who have Multiple Sclerosis as well as providing the service to wider medical conditions that may benefit from oxygen therapy The treatment involves using a diving chamber where a high dose of oxygen under various pressures is given. Treatment encourages increased healing and promotes management of the client's condition.

Gay & Peter Hartley's Hillards Trust makes grants to charities that support children's welfare, care for the elderly, mental/physical health, disability, & hospices. Grants are made up to £1,000 to local charities in towns in 11 counties in north and central England - mainly in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire. Objectives of the charity are defined widely in the governing document to include any charitable activity.Trustees have considered the Commissions guidance on public benefit & currently Trustees policy is to benefit charities specialising in cancer relief & research,those particularly involved with hospices,those involved in arts & also a wider range of charities based in & around Leeds,WYorks.

Meditation Centre

To offer an annual pension to eligible persons and to include a Christmas bonus (if the years investment income is sufficient). To grant assistance to eligible persons in the form of payments for exceptional and essential items or services, especially where those in need are suffering a sickness, or are convalescent or otherwise disabled.

The charity has continued with its aim of completing and publishing our Director's PhD on possible influences of breathing quality on outcome in children with cerebral palsy. This research forms the theoretical basis of The Scotson Technique as practised at Advance. Our long-term goal is to gain mainstream recognition on the National Health Service. We also offer hyperbaric oxygen to families.

To advance the science and art of ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery and to improve the practice and teaching of this subject in Europe and to raise sufficient funds to make fellowship grants.

The provision of an "Out of Hours" (7pm to 6am) rapid courier service for the transportation of blood, samples and any other items used for the medical or surgical treatment of patients for doctors, hospitals and laboratories free of charge; Attending various events to promote these activities, recruit new volunteers and raise funds to cover the operating costs of the charity.

Advancement of the Buddhist faith, through education programmes, and day courses held at the centre and at branch classes.

SEBDA is a multi-disciplinary association. It serves the interests of children and young people experiencing difficulties in their social, emotional and mental health development by: promoting understanding of their needs;supporting those who work with them; providing training and education; engaging with policy making agencies and service providers;disseminating good practice.

Provision of Snack Bar facilities at Basildon Hospital Out Patents for the benefit of staff, patients and visitors. The tea bar is manned completely by volunteer staff Monday to Friday 10am to 2.00pm .

Provide help and assistance to Renal Patients registered at Southmead Hospital BristolFinancial donations to the Renal Patients Welfare Fund administered by the Social WorkerTo provide equipment/aid to the renal unit which would not be supplied by the NHSA two-bedroom house for the use of patients and CarersProvide a holiday flat for patients to continue their treatment whilst on holiday

Provides companionship, welfare and modest financial assistance to widows and dependents of all who served in the Armed Forces, to retired armed forces personnel and to retired members of the nursing profession who help in a variety of ways in hospitals, hospices and other volunteer-based organisations; and to support those suffering from disability

Recieving donations in lieu of flowers at funerals, organising annual fetes, running a charity shop and sweet trolley. Proceeds are used to donate equipment and furnishings to Paulton Memorial Hospital for the aid and treatment of patients.

To provide such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the Local Education Authority for Joseph Clarke School for the visually impaired of London E4 9PP. To educate and assist visually impaired young persons through their leisure time activities to develop their physical mental and spiritual capacities.

Raising funds to be used for the benefit of patients in our hospitals. This is done through retail outlets, a shop and a teabar at St Helier hospital. There is also a yearly raffle draw.

Sportability provides sport and challenging pursuits for people with all forms of paralysis - spinal cord injury, stroke, M.S etc. Activities include micro-light flying, gliding, sailing, canoeing, quad-biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, BloKart sailing, wheelchair tennis, falconry and more. Their credo is taking the 'dis' out of disability and to focus on ability.

Funds raised through Public Fun Run, Christmas Santa and Rudolf Collections, Boxing Night, Annual International Night ,Concerts and Club Members.Main beneficiaries were Save the Children, Fresh Start New Beginnings, Park Run UK, Felixstowe Dementia Action Allliance, Felixstowe Opportunities Group, ShelterBox Trust and The Rotary Foundation.Donations were also made to many local good causes.
