To promote the mental, moral and physical welfare of the deaf and dumb.

To advance the education of the mentally handicapped, to promote the prevention and development of mental health and to foster mutual help and co operation between parents, guardians, relatives and friends of the mentally handicapped.

PROVISION OF HOUSING.

For the last 50 years we have been supporting primarily the Italian community as well as other ethnic communities in the city. We visit the sick (home/hospital). Our house is a place of prayer for those in need. We support Catholic Chaplaincy in prison as well as visiting people in work places and are involved in youth programs. We also support special projects in Africa & Brazil.

Parent & Toddler Group,Wives Club,Bridge Club, Musical Society, Over 65s Activity Group, WARP Games Group, Art Class, Dance Fit, Craft Class, Mesothelioma, Walking club, Wing Chun club, Jodo Club, Truth Seekers meetings, Meditation Group. The premises are available for hire,one large hall,two lounge rooms for up to 40 persons,one meeting for 20 persons, kitchen facilities are available

The charity provides premises and services for practitoners and therapies, answers queries about natural and alternative medicine and participates in events which provide information in this field to the public.

Raise funds through various fundraising activities and by inviting donations, legacies etc. from the general public. Funds are utilised in the provision of amenities and equipment for hospitals and medical centres within our catchment area.

The principle areas in which the charity has been involved are:Education in its broadest sense including academic research to benefit the local area.Pastoral activitiesMembers of the Order undertake voluntary work in the local communities and parishes. This includes the instruction of children in the Catholic faith, visitation of hospitals and the housebound etc.

To supplement the services provided by the local and national welfare agencies in providing for the health and comfort of the patients and other invalids in the community, by providing facilities, buildings and equipment which may be required for the treatment of members of the local community.

The community hall is let for the purpose of scout and beaver groups weekly meetings, keep fit class, craft class, , fundraising activities - quizzes, socials and private lettings - weddings. Women's Institute twice-monthly meetings. New for 2017:- weekly Zumba class, monthly coffee mornings, weekly W.I. knitting and craft group. Guide dogs for the blind training, Sunday religious group.

REFOCUS WORKS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFITS BY ADDRESSING THE NEEDS MAINLY OF YOUNG PEOPLE OF BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC ORIGIN IN AND AROUND READING, BERKSHIRE WHO ARE EITHER INVOLVED IN CRIME OR AT RISK OF BECOMING SO. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH MENTORING, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, LIFE-SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELLING, COACHING, IN-SCHOOL PROJECTS AND HOLIDAY PROVISIONS.

Drayton Grange Community Association is the business name for the management committee that manages Nene Hall.The aim of DGCA is to provide premises at a hire rate that is affordable and attractive to all users, while maintaining and improving the facilty. Regular users:- Nursery; Ballet; Ukulele; Church; St John Ambulance; Romanian classes; Action for Children. SEN Keep-fit

Premises available for group meetings spiritual healing, meditation, lectures, discussion etc. Donations to 'Good Causes'.

The Cornwall Leukaemia Trust was founded in 1981 to help patients with leukaemia and allied disorders in Cornwall. The Trust has achieved this aim, primarily by supporting the work of the haematology department of the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust and continues to actively support the activities and development of this department and others.

The federation, through its blind and partially sighted membership, seeks to promote a better quality of life for all visually impaired people through local activities at branch level and nationally through campaigning.

To provide information,support and advice to all men,women and children affected by HIV and AIDS who live primarily within the London Borough of Hillingdon. Hart aims to produce a range of services either directly from our staff and volunteers or by referral to other agencies.

Sunday Services and Sunday School. Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, Child Dedications.Visiting the housebound and hospital visits.Various events during the year to support charities; Comic Relief, Children In Need, etc.Coffee mornings and afternoons.

To accept subscriptions, donations and legacies in order to provide equipment, refurbishment of facilities, enhancements to services and items of comfort in cases where The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is unable to provide the appropriate funds.

We offer bilingual music & speech radio for the patients,staff and visitors of Bronglais General Hospital. We also offer a wide range of training opportunities to our members.

Donations to local Churches, Schools and Hospitals

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE PATIENTS AND EX-PATIENTS, OF PATRICK STEAD HOSPITAL, THE DISABLED AND OTHERS IN THE HALESWORTH AREA.

The main function a Social Club is to provide deaf members with a stable environment and served those, whos first language is British Sign Language. The club has a rich source of information for deaf, hearing impaired and hearing people. There is a link to local social services and the Church of England and pastoral care.

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is part of RGHC which provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts & Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. We also offer support services for families and, in Herts, a range of day services.

Cooking a Hot Meal on Christmas Day for 100 approx people, an outing by Canal Boat for people from residental/nursing homes, providing and maintaining a pendant-operated Lifeline Telephone service with approx 400 units in service, plus helping the community in various task as and when required to do so. Donations to other Charities working within our community.

Community venue providing space and facilities for the local population and further afield. We aim to serve and enhance our locality. There are playgroups, arts groups, sewing groups, fitness classes and meditation, parties, fundraising activities, meals, film nights, a place to meet, to learn, somewhere to enhance connections with others and offer/attend regular or one off classes and events
