Bury Involvement Group (BIG) in Mental Health is a voluntary organisation based in Bury. We provide several different groups for adults experiencing mental health conditions and provide a community crisis service via an NHS grant. We also signpost people to other services and hold events to raise awareness and reduce stigma about mental health. BIG is a strong independent voice in mental health.

The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations founded in November of 1992 to provide an international community for ALS/MND associations from around the world. Our vision is to engage our members, prospective members and other organizations in sharing resources globally, advancing awareness and supporting people with ALS/MND worldwide.

Afternoon shows with high tea and outreach work taking music hall shows to those people suffering dementia, alzheimers mental health difficulties. The afternoon music hall shows with tea are held at our own theatre.

Our aim is to offer help and assistance to elderly, disabled and vulnerable people of the 2 Doctors surgeries in Totnes and surrounding parishes to enable them to live in their own homes and receive a level of support which will help them remain independent and not be isolated from the community.We provide services such health related transport, befriending, shopping, home help and form filling.

To advance education and relieve need amongst people in Whitehaven and surrounding district. To provide support accommodation to Homeless young people 16-25yrs. To provide a Healthy living centre for the whole community with some free services to those with minor mental health problems.

Offer counselling & support to people affected by bereavement, life-changing illness and loss.Offer workshops and training for issues related to loss, bereavement, grief and other related topics.

To provide relief for women who are suffering from mental health problems by means of therapeutic services. To educate the general public on the subject of mental health.

OUR RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TEACHING MEDITATION AND PROVIDING A SPIRITUAL EDUCATION TO BUDDHISTS AND NON-BUDDHISTS AND TO CREATE A PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH EVERYBODY IS WELCOME.

The Girlington Centre is an inclusive community centre offering free legal advice on welfare benefits and immigration; activities that promote community development / cohesion; health and wellbeing activities for all ages

We are a short to medium term homeless hostel providing support for men, aged 25-60, in Watford with complex needs; primarily homelessness, drug and alcohol issues. We provide 24-hr support, in-house therapists, self-help strategies, supportive group work, signposting to external services, assistance with maximising benefits, advice on education and training and follow on support / resettlement.

Provide groups and activities within the community and in hospital settings which serve to develop the confidence, self-esteem and personal skills of vulnerable people, with a variety of difficult issues or situations.

Supporting research both with protected funds used only for research in specified areas, and unrestricted funds, awarded to young researchers in open competition, provided they are supervised and that their research falls within one of the Clinical Academic Groups (CAG) of the IoPPN. Additionally, supporting young psychiatrists from Eastern Europe and developing countries

The objectives of the charity are for any charitable purpose or purposes relating to the National Health Service wholly or mainly for the service provided by the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. Donations are used in accordance with the wishes of the donor i.e. to purchase medical equipment, provide amenities to patients and staff and finance limited education and medical research.

Alpha House Calderdale houses and supports those who have multiple problems, including mental health, offending and substance misuse issues, who need structure and support to maintain stable, law-abiding and drug free lives in the community. We help these residents, as well as others attending our daycare provision, to achieve their goals and aspirations and build meaningful, fulfilling lives.

AT The Bus offers a school-based programme of art as therapy to support the education, health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 5-16 in Oxfordshire and London. Group sessions take place during the school day in a purposely designed therapeutic studio space in a double decker bus located on school grounds or in specially designed studio spaces.

Preservation of mental health: * Activities supporting this includes awareness raising and campaigning work and the provision of information. Activities supporting this include the provision of advocacy, volunteering, befriending and information services.

The Charity's objectives and principal activity is the provision of holistic care for the needy and the provision of education within the London Borough of Redbridge and surrounding areas. Activities include a drop in centre (The Welcome Centre) to help and support the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. Projects also include Language classes, childcare and social groups for senior citizens.

The Foundation objectives are to: Address social exclusion, Improve health and wellbeing, Promote education and literacy, Support vulnerable children and young people and Support vulnerable people and families.
