To raise funds by way of donations, legacies and collections. To supplement the services provided by the authority for the administration of the Friary Hospital for the health, welfare and comfort of the patients, by the provision of facilities and equipment.

We issue grants to support the health and wellbeing of those in need residing in the City of Leeds Metropolitan District during convalescence. Examples of grants are medical equipment (nebulisers, wheelchairs), helping to fund support groups (mental health, terminal illness), community outreach projects and day trips for adults and children with disabilities.

To provide assistance and support, in the City of Hereford and surrounding areas, to individuals in need as a result of maltreatment, neglect, crime, delinquency, prostitution, alcoholic addiction, substance misuse and other addictions

Support Dawlish Hospital

The club exists to enable disabled people to benefit from swimming therapy; amongst our disabled members we number those who have suffered strokes, heart operations, back injuries, amputations, multiple sclerosis, visual handicaps and arthritis, as well as to endeavour to provide assistance to disabled persons to gain access to swimming facilities.

We organise an annual scientific meeting for neuroscientists/physicians/surgeons in the North of England, sponsoring junior doctors, and offering travel grants.

Provision of website for members use, outdoor activities and individual supported challenges and educational projects. Social events for the group. provision of grants for individual use in IT communications, education and personal development. Raising public awareness of deafness in children and public awareness through newsletter and public signing events.

To provide low-cost housing for those in need in the parishes of Bredenbury, Kyre, Hanley William, Stoke Bliss, Edwyn Ralph, Wacton or Collington.

As per the Charity Charter of the League of Friends of the Royal Victoria Hospital. To raise funds to support the work of the Royal Victoria Hospital, by operating a support mechanism to fund hospital facilities, equipment and financial assistance.

Also meditation classes are held during the week for peace of mind, for people seeking spiritual help and counselling.
