The principal activity of the Bridge Pastoral Foundation is the provision of training in pastoral care and counselling through seminars, weekend courses and conferences held in various parts of the UK. A second charitable object has been added, and the constitution amended accordingly, which is the relief of suffering for those in emotional distress.

To perpetuate the memory of Edward Hain and to assist in the provision of health and well-being services for the residents of St Ives.

The Hospital of Jesus is one branch of the Archbishop Hutton Trust. It administers four almshouses in the parish of Warton, originally established by Archbishop Matthew Hutton (born 1592), Bishop of Durham and subsequently Archbishop of York.

The objectives of the Association is to relive patients and former patients of the Evesham Community Hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped, infirm or in need of assisance and generally, to support the charitable work of the Evesham Community Hospital.

THESE SERVICES INCLUDE SHOPPING BUSES, LUNCH CLUBS, EXTEND EXERCISE CLASSES, SOCIAL EVENTS, TRANSPORT TO HEALTH APPOINTMENTS, CLINICS AND HOSPITALS, BEFRIENDING AND NON TECHNICALADVICE SERVICES. SMALL DOMESTIC ODD JOBS ALSO UNDERTAKEN BY VOLUNTEERS. WE DO NOT MAKE FINANCIAL GRANTS

Social Aid supports charitable activities carried out in connexion with the Church of England in the Diocese of Hereford, particularly: the promotion of temperance and higher standards of moral life in individuals, family and community; the restoration of the intemperate or delinquent and those addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling or otherwise needing help; the relief of the consequent distress.

Providing transport for, usually,elderly and frail clients to appointments at Hospitals and Medical and Dental surgeries/centres, from Abingdon and the surrounding area.

The Cancer Laryngectomee Trust was formed in 1985 by Sydney Norgate, a laryngectomee. Working throughout the UK it provides help, support and information in response to a wide variety of problems and needs experienced by sufferers from cancer of the larynx and their carers.

The friends of Ross Hospital current activities are to raise funds by organising coffee mornings, street collections, an annual hospital garden fete and shop sales. These funds go to benefit patients in the hospital and local community.

To advance the Christian religion amongst deaf persons in the city of Wolverhampton and its surrounding hinterland: To relieve such persons in whatever manner is consistent with Christian principles and maintain facilities for recreation, education and of a social nature for people with all degrees of hearing loss.

We are a group of approximately 40 volunteers, who in consultation with our hospital trust, serve in the hospital. We generate income from this work and this is spent in the hospital or on health related items for the benefit of patients.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BUT PARTICULARLY MEDICAL AND SURGICAL PROFESSIONALS IN THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF SURGERY BY PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO SURGERY AND PAYING OR CONTRIBUTING TO EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO SURGERY NOT PROVIDED BY THE NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE.

Education and training. Awarding grants for clinical staff to attend courses which will increase their qualifications, or improve their medical understanding, or to attend conferences and training periods. Research. Providing funding towards research projects and helping staff attend specialist conferences worldwide to increase their knowledge and share their expertise.

Provide support for ' Seachange ' Budleigh Salterton ( formerly Budleigh Salterton Hospital ) . Provide support via grants to other organisations in the local area that can improve the health and wellbeing of the local community.

OUR GROUP PROVIDE A MEETING PLACE FOR THE COMMUNITY WHERE HEALTHY LIVING ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE: KEEP FIT CLASSES, COMMUNITY CHOIR, SLIMMING WORLD CLUB AND MOTHER AND TODDLER GROUP. ROOM/ KITCHEN HIRE IS AVAILABLE; HALL ACCOMMODATES WHEELCHAIR USERS AND PUSHCHAIRS. WE PROVIDE COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING AFTERNOON TEAS, CONCERTS, DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING, FAIRS, TABLE TOP SALES AND POLLING STATION.

The Trust makes grants to other charities for: medical research; the care of the visually impaired; children in need of protection care or welfare; establishing or maintaining homes for the aged and infirm; and educational grants.

Fund raising for children with hearing difficulties and support the local Sensory Inclusion Service with much needed equipment.

The GMPMVC gives concerts throughout the UK but mainly within the GMP area. By invitation, it has also sung in the EU.The Choir has been privileged to assist in raising many thousands of pounds for organisations and charities such as Scope, The Rainbow Trust, The Deep Sea Fishermen's Mission, Rochdale Springhill & Bury Hospices, Cancer Research UK as well as local churches and schools.
