Health Charities

The charity purchases equipment and gifts for the Hospital for the health, welfare and comfort of the patients therein and for patients being treated in the community.

Grants of -£150 per annum to The Huguenot Church of Canterbury Cathedral.Grants of -£175 to The French Hospital in Rochester.Grants to the Westminster French Protestant School Foundation

The Charity meets John Kimbells original intent by: Giving a cash gift annually to widows and people of pensionable age in the parish.Giving one off payments to any resident going into hospital for more than 3 nights, and cash gifts to new babies and children as they start primary and secondary school. A delivery of a loaf of bread to each household in the Parish at new year.

PROVISION OF ENTERTAINMENT TO SICK CHILDREN

1.The support and relief of refugees of African origin living in Great Britain and in particular their rehabilitation.2.The relief of poverty, sickness and the distress as experienced amongst asylum seekers and immigrants of African origin, in particular through the provision of advice, counselling, prison visits, training and in similar charitable ways.3.The advancement of public education

Fund raising. Providing domestic and financial help for various Hospital clinics and groups as required. Communicating with the local community on various health issues.Taking part in the planning of clinical services provided at Hythe Hospital.

Over the years the Trust has been able to give financial support to a number of local people living in Cambridge City who have faced difficult times in their lives where ill health has been an issue.Cambridge Community Nursing Trust may be able to offer a small sum that may help to relieve pressures where finances are a difficulty.

The free provision for the registered blind or partially sighted of recordings of a weekly talking newspaper with local news, a monthly talking magazine with topics of interest and a talking books library service.

Monies are raised from store collections, collecting tins, special events which are used to provide social occasions and other assistance to improve the wellbeing of our members

Grants for the benefit of sick poor persons resident in the parish of Wednesbury and the immediate neighbourhood for the supply of special food , medicines, medical comforts, extra bedding, fuel, medical and surgical appliances, provision of domestic help and convalescence expenses and similar costs as the trustees think fit

1.TO PROVIDE A MEETING PLACE FOR DEAF AND HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ON A NON-DISCRIMINATORY BASIS WHERE DEAF AND HEARING PEOPLE CAN COME TOGETHER.2.TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF DEAF AND HEARING IMPAIRED PEOPLE LIVING IN PLYMOUTH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.

To provide day care facilities to African/Caribbean Elders and people of other communities in the city of Nottingham. To provide support to those elders who have dementia to improve the quality of their life and promote self worth.

To mobilise encourage, foster and maintain the interest of the public in the patients and the support of the work of the Grimsby Hospitals by means of voluntary service.

To supply products and services not supplied by NHS to Chard Hospital, to assist staff in their treatment of patients and for us to supply services for the comfort of patients.

Metchely Park Medical Society promotes and supports postgraduate medical education and the advancement of academic research of, and amongst, medical and senior paramedical staff of NHS hospital trusts and primary care providers in South Birmingham

Provision of facilities to local bodies for Parish Council purposes, WomenÔÇÖs Institute purposes, local Church functions, use of facilities by private individuals through the year, hire of equipment. Opportunity for the villages to meet in a fund-raising social and formal atmosphere through Summer Ball, New Year Party, Bingo evenings, donations to local Air Ambulance and Village Green.

The society arranges study courses,visits and public lectures on arts subjects; provides volunteers to museums, galleries and historic buildings in the London area and North Kent which are open to the public; encourages and financially supports arts projects in Bromley area schools and hospitals.

PROVIDING BUILDINGS FACILITIES AND SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY.

Fund Raising events.

Religious activites - services. Distribution to the needy. Training leaders. Organise seminars for leaders. Conduct crusades in revivals. Engage in counselling and educational activities. We are involved in distribution of religious flyers for soul winning.

We run a shop specially for childrens cancer hospices adult hospices.

The Charity receives grants during the year, from local support. On first FRIDAY in December distributes approx 900 vouchers to people in the Parish of State pensionable age, these exchanged in Kinver shops Gifts are taken to the same value to Kinver residents in Parish nursing homes to peopleWe also give advice and support and link people to local services.

Transporting village clients to and from various appoinments i.e. doctors, dentist & hospital

The purpose of the Society is the creation and broadcast of radio programmes for the benefit and entertainment of the Trust's patients, their families and friends, staff and volunteers together with the wider community supported by the Trust.

We support the local community through the hospital. We receive monies/fund raise from the community which we reinvest into the hospital and associated units.
