Based in the UK we provide online education resources for the public benefit all over the world.

Grant making Trust for Nurses in hardship

We run a rural Buddhist Retreat Centre, offering residential retreats on Buddhist meditation and Buddhist teaching. We also run weekends and courses in city based Buddhist Centres on request. Local schools ask us to talk to their pupils about Buddhism and some come to us for an weekend experience of retreat living. Our main teachers are all ordained Buddhists with the Triratna Community.

The provision of therapeutic support via hydrotherapy, rebound therapy and swimming for children with additional needs, aged between 1 and 16, along with fun and educational activities, and including the whole family.

We work with vulnerable women and their children to improve their health and wellbeing, improve their life prospects and create stronger and more cohesive families. Our work is primarily carried out in Luton and Bedfordshire.

HOME-START OFFERS FREE SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND PRACTICAL HELP TO FAMILIES WITH AT LEAST ONE CHILD UNDER FIVE WHO MAY BE UNDERGOING PRESSURES SUCH AS LONELINESS AND ISOLATION, DEPRESSION OR SEVERAL PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. FAMILIES ARE VISITED REGULARLY IN THEIR OWN HOMES BY VOLUNTEERS WHO ALL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF PARENTING AND KNOW HOW HARD THINGS CAN BE.

Time to Talk West Berkshire provides a confidential counselling service, free at the point of delivery, for young people aged 11 to 25 who are resident, in education, training, working or registered with a GP in West Berkshire. It provides counselling from its premises in Newbury, at some schools and through other outreach work, and runs courses.

Breaking Down Barriers is a charitable organisation working with communities in nationwide. SoCo Music Project supports wellbeing and progression through music. Our core activities include: supporting young people at risk of offending; working with children and young people with special educational needs/disabilities; providing activities for adults who are vulnerable through substance misuse and/or poor mental health. We also support creatives to connect/collaborate through networking.
