Goodwill activities to our 4 villages including: Car ambulance service providing transport to local doctors, dentists and hospitals when villager unable to drive; various goodwill activities for pensioners such as an afternoon tea and Christmas parcels; and donations to individuals and local organisations including the school. Fundraising events such as an annual fete and occasional quiz night

Information about and instruction in Transcendental Meditation (TM) as taught by Maharishi Yogi. Offers improved health, wellbeing and development of higher states of consciousness for the individual and society through TM, advanced techniques, Ayur Veda and Stapathya Veda. Offers Consciousness Based Education by providing TM to schools and other educational establishments.

North Staffs Basics is a voluntary organisation which provides skilled medical care or help at the site of an accident or other medical emergency, or in transit to hospital, in and around North Staffordshire area.

To empower the Deaf children of Tower Hamlets and their families. We believe Deaf children should be valued by society and given the same opportunities as any other child.We are a support network, who strives to support Deaf children, young people and their families. We offer help to parents who may feel isolated within the community

We record on audio equipment extracts from local newspapers. Copies are sent to those with sight impairment in this district, i.e. those with difficulties in reading those newspapers. We also send an audio magazine to these listeners. This contains miscellaneous items of interest.

Provides a talking Newspaper (tapes) to the Blind

JAT provides support and counselling for Jewish people living with HIV and their families/carers. It also promotes awareness of sexual health issues; provides outreach and education & challenges stigma about STIs and HIV in & outside the Jewish community.

The charity arranges fundraising events which fund concerts for patients & staff in hospitals, hospices & old people's homes in England, Scotland & Wales, as well as supporting projects for children in deprived areas.

Provison of audio material for Blind and Partially Sighted people.

Supporting the needs of the blind and partially sighted living within the county of Ceredigion. Working in conjunction with Ceredigion Social Services, and Wales Council for the Blind.

Milton Keynes Hospital Radio provides a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week broadcasting service to the patients within Milton Keynes General Hospital. We are a non-profit organisation relying on money raised through membership, funding raising & kind donations.

To provide help and assistance to needy previous patients of the Warneford General Hospital who have been transferred to the South Warwickshire General Hospitals NHS Trust and to patients now being treated by the South Warwickshire Hospitals.

We operate an award winning, confidential, general dermatology helpline, which provides information and/or support to anyone who has any kind of skin problem,including all types of skin cancer.

Music services to community groups and societies. Organising local amateur music groups and societies.The Charity provides music workshop days for school age students (South London Music Days)

The Charity aims to help patients suffering from cancer. It provides welfare and facilities for such patients. The Charity also works to promote research into cancer to supplement the services provided by hospitals for the treatment of cancer.

The charity provides facilities for research (1) to investigate the problems that arise in the day to day treatment of diseases (2) to carry out research to develop new surgical methods of alleviation or cure of disease and (3) to teach new concepts for the treatment of diseases. It is currently doing this by way of supporting the Islet Isolation facility at the Nuffield Dept of Surgery.

To relieve patients and former patients of Molesey Hospital and other invalids in the community who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm and generally to support the work of the hospital

THE PURCHASE OR HIRE OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR USE IN INVESTIGATING, TREATING OR ALLEVIATING THE SUFFERING OF ANY CANCER PATIENT IN THE NORTH HUMBERSIDE OR SCARBOROUGH REGION OR FOR PURPOSES OF RESEARCH LEADING TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE IN THE FIELD OF RADIOTHERAPY AND ONCOLOGY GENERALLY.
