Arts Charities

The principal objectives of the Charity are to promote education in the Arts anywhere in the world for the public benefit, including without limitation by promoting education in the music for and playing of the Viola by competing, developing excellence in technical skill, embracing new music and forming links with other educational organisations.

Art and Crafts, Cafe and catering for events, and learning and training support (e.g. learning to use computers and the internet). Provision of space to local community groups and other organisations. Projects and activities surrounding social isolation and community engagement along with other issues where identified and appropriate.

For the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively in Greater London: To promote, improve, develop & maintain public education in & appreciation of the art & science of music in all its aspects;To relieve sickness & any other charitable need & preserve and protect good health; by, in particular but not exclusively, the presentation of & participation in public performance

The Midi Music Company is a registered charity/company limited by guarantee, providing a space for all children and young people aged five to thirty to be inspired to get into music and the creative industries. MMC's team includes experienced industry professionals who deliver cutting edge creative and inspiring projects, enriching the artistic process for those who are socially disadvantaged.

The aim of the charity is to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts including, without limitation, the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music.

C&T is a theatre company that mixes performance, learning and new media technologies to produce participatory experiences that enable young and disabled people to learn new skills, understand complex issues and to generate creative, learning and democratic opportunities.

Ensemble Reza run a programme of concerts and education projects for people of all ages and all backgrounds to help further their knowledge, understanding and appreciation of classical music.

Storybook Dads operates in approx 100 prisons nationwide and enables imprisoned parents to send audio and video of themselves reading a story to their children. These stories are edited and enhanced using digital software to make a unique and special gift for each child.

Tennis, Squash, Racketball, Dance Classes. Available to all through either membership subscription or pay as you go.

To increase knowledge of and interest in film by offering a mixed programme of both commercial and non commercial film, including arthouse, foreign and classics, in the Purbeck area including local rural communities. To encourage development of skills in film making by running workshops for young people and by offering screening opportunities for young film makers.

The regular public worship open to all. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. The provision of youth clubs with a Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through meetings and the distribution of literature. UKLA presents an informed national voice on language, literacy and communication issues. The Association organises conferences, training, publications and research in order to encourage dialogue between research and teaching and challenge and shape policy developments.

Wye PCC is committed to making the gospel of Jesus Christ accessable as possible to the people of the parish and to all who visit or pass through. We work hard to serve our local community, to encourage as many people as possible to encounter the risen Christ and to deepen their faith through prayer and scripture, music and sacrament.

Yorkshire Youth and Music is a Charity offering young people the opportuntity to learn about, and make, music. Our primary aim is to encourage access for and participation by young people in the region who have no other opportunity. We do this by working in partnership across Yorkshire, using and training inspirational musicians.

Stockton Parish Church is a parish church in the Diocese of Durham serving the local parish, diocese & beyond through public & online worship & small groups; teaching; pastoral work; student, youth & children's work; hosting events; distributing literature; and supporting mission partners in the UK & abroad.

To advance the religion of Islam for the benefit of the public through the holding prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on the Islamic faith to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.To advance the education of the public on the subject of Islamic religion.

Glusburn Community and Arts Centre (GCAC) provides facilities for local organisations serving the local community in particular meeting the needs of children, the elderly and the disabled. The range of services includes dance, drama, fitness and sporting activities.Additionally GCAC organises events aimed at furthering the arts and providing entertainment for the local and wider community.

Townswomen's Guilds (TG) acts as an umbrella organisation for the national movement. It provides administrative frameworks and works to promote the movement across the UK by assisting in the formation of new Guilds and in the recruitment of new members. It provides national events to bring members together, a magazine to link members and campaigns on matters that make women's lives better .

WE PROVIDE A SAFE STIMULATING PLAY ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 5 - 18 YR OLDS.WE OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF INDOOR & OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES, SUCH AS VARIOUS ARTS & CRAFTS, IT AND ASSORTED PLAY STRUCTURES SUCH AS A SPIDER WEB, ADVENTURE TRAIL, SWINGS, ALL WEATHER BALL COURT.WE ALSO HAVE A DEDICATED ADDITIONAL NEEDS WORKER.

To promote the whole mission of the Church in the city centre of Manchester. To enable adults and children to come to faith and live a full life. To maintain and make available the parish church for the use of the community, in particular to allow a place of quiet and prayer, to maintain an historic place of worship, to support people in need and to promote appropriate music.

To promote an interest in all aspects of alpine plants, their cultivation in rock gardens and plant conservation in natural habitats. We are a membership organisation, publish a quarterly Journal for members, operate a seed exchange, make awards available for horticultural study, operate botanical tours for members to see plants in their natural habitats and publish alpine plant information.

The Foundation for Forgiveness and Reconciliation exists to prevent violence and transform conflict by promoting values of peace and reconciliation through workshops and film in the UK and Lebanon.
