We provide a range of community services to eldery and disabled residents in the Borough of Gateshead, e.g. day clubs, exercise, social activites, arts & crafts

Leamington Music organises concerts providing a high standard of International and Early Music at a variety of venues, mainly in Warwickshire, centred on Leamington Spa and Warwick.We also provide musical workshops, master classes and special concerts for young people, and support musicians through funding and grants.

The object of the company is to advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public. A principal activity is the operation of a Christian bookshop and church resource centre (including a small lounge) in Staines, provision of a counselling service, promotion of united Christian church activities and distribution of literature to enlighten and teach others about the Christian religion.

The Society administers St Albans Organ Theatre which houses a permanent working exhibition of mechanical musical instruements and theatre pipe organs. It is open to the public one Sunday per month from 2 - 4.30pm and features a live musical performance with a full descriptive commentary. Organised groups are welcome at other times by arrangement. Regular theatre organ concerts are also held.

Developments in Literacy (DIL) UK is dedicated to providing quality education to disadvantaged children, especially girls, by establishing and operating schools in the underdeveloped regions of Pakistan, with a strong focus on gender equality and community participation. DIL UK in England supports language and vocational skills to mothers of under performing students & terminally ill children.

We organise an annual festival and feast in the village of Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire, to raise money for charitable purposes for the benefit of the community of Great Shelford and surrounding parishes, primarily but not exclusively by the provision of grants. We occasionally run other activities to raise funds or to promote the festival and feast, of a local community nature.

North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre provides a community-based service to help families whose lives are affected by illness or disability. Music Therapy involves active music making as a means of improving physical, psychological and emotional functioning. The charity also provides information, further education, presentations/workshops and a programme of cultural events.

The Theatre Shed's purpose is to advance the education of children, young people and adults in the performing arts and horticulture by providing services that are accessible for those with and without social, communication, mobility, learning, emotional and other support needs. Through inter-ability workshops and projects, we facilitate integration and representation in the community.

The organisation provides public worship open to all with teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Activities include pastoral work, visiting the sick and the bereaved; support of other charities in the UK and overseas; the provision of activities for toddlers; the promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings, and the distribution of literature.

Manchester Histories celebrates, reveals and raises awareness of the histories and heritage of Greater Manchester through the development of community engagement events and projects and the Manchester Histories Festival

The Mosque is open all day for daily and Friday prayers. During the week we have over 100 people whoregularly attend daily prayers and over 500 who regularly attend Friday prayers.The mosque/ Centre is also used for festivals, funeral facilities, civil marriage and nikkah, hafiz classes, Islamic awareness, inter-faith dialogue, zakat, library, etc.

The Bibliographical Society promotes and encourages study and research in historical, analytical, descriptive and textual bibliography, the making and use of manuscripts, the history of printing, publishing and illustration, the history of bookbinding, the history of the book, as well as the history of libraries, provenance, readership, and book collecting.

Lantern Arts Centre is a performing arts centre with a Christian ethos. It serves the local community by providing a wide range of performances, clubs and classes which all are welcome to attend and/or take part in. Activities include two performances a year, Childrens' Theatre Clubs, Cafe Studio and Theatre in Education - addressing topics such as bullying and obesity.

To support Christian work in the lands of the Middle East, North Africa and Asia, through funding national church leaders, training, literature and practical aid.

We promote the creative arts in all its forms in particular but not exclusively by improving public education, interest, and appreciation in all forms of the creative arts. We provide affordable workspace for creatives to make work while also creating a public programme of exhibitions, workshops, performances and events and encouraging access to the visual arts for the general public.

The ITP Support Association provides information and support to those with ITP and their families. Run primarily by volunteers with just one paid part-time worker it publishes a quarterly newsletter, provides numerous ITP publications, organises annual patient conventions, seminars for health professionals and funds research into the causes and best management of this frightening disease.

We provide regular services for worship, children's activities (pre-school group & Sunday school) & regular social groups (Mothers' union, choir, bell ringers, prayer & bible study etc). We host exhibitions & concerts and provide light refreshments for visitors. We support the church overseas, a parish in Palestine & a school in Zimbabwe as well as some diocesan initiatives.
