Arts Charities

The activities of St Mary's, Kington incude the holding of regular church services in the church, the publication of the monthly magazine, the raising of funds for the maintenance of the church property and for various charitable purposes, holding bi-monthly meetings of the trustees in the Parish House, organising activities for children and adults in the Parish House.

Access for members of the public to carry out activities that include education, training, physical education, dance, religion, bowling and to operate craft fairs, flea markets, annual fetes and others of public interestProvision of a quality, affordable, safe and nurturing preschool for children ages 2 years to 5 years working in partnership with external agencies and the local community

To promote an appreciation of the arts and crafts and their associated technologies. To educate the public, especially young people, by encouraging the creative participation in the arts and crafts of film and media. To educate the public in the heritage of Bleanau Gwent and it's unique industrial past by researching and creating documentary film and media and related activities.

The principal object of the charity is to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education and appreciation of the dramatic arts for the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of participatory activities, training and access to the work of Michael Grandage and other leading arts providers.

Youth Provision - Junior and Senior sessions. Football, Cricket, Short Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Table tennis and multi sports available in the Sports Hall. Rooms available for education, training and meetings. Toddler, Youth and Drama groups. Various competitions (Dance, Leek, Wrestling etc). Celebration events.

THE AIMS OF THE ACADEMY IS TO PROMOTE THE AUTEHENTIC QUR'AN TEACHING TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY;TO PROVIDE THE BEST QUR'AN STUDY PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND OF DIFFERENT CAPABILITIES;AND TO PROMOTE QUR'AN STUDIES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL CLASSES,CONFERENCES,ACTIVITIES,TRIPS,PUBLICATIONS,ETC.

THE TRUST DEVELOPS, PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL ARTS IN THE BOROUGH OF ELMBRIDGE, THROUGHAWARDING GRANT AID TO LOCAL ARTISTS, ARTS ORGANISATIONS, VENUES AND PROJECTS; ORGANISING AND DIRECTLY MANAGING ARTS INITIATIVES; PUBLISHING AND DISTRIBUTING A FREE QUARTERLY LISTINGS MAGAZINE, ÔÇ£ARTS FOCUSÔÇØ; OFFERING ADVICE AND INFORMATION TO THE ARTS COMMUNITY AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.

Provision of a gym, dance studio, sports hall & various fitness classes to the community and young people.

Playgroup runs on Monday to Fridays 8.45am - 2.45pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays for pre-school children only and includes a lunch time). We are Ofsted regulated and activities offered include physical indoor and outdoor play, small world, table top activities, floor games, singing, storytime and circle games.

The practice of music of excellence of all times, with special regard to the works of J S Bach in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by public performance.

The PCC is committed to reaching as many people as possible with the gospel message and to become Christians within our parish community at Holy Trinity. The PCC aims to make our services accessible to the many groups that live within our parish. Our services and the living witness of our members put faith into practice through scripture and prayer, music and sacrament and loving pastoral care.

We are a Welsh Medium Playgroup, our childcare facility provides full day care for children from 2-4 years of age within the Foundation Phase and through the medium of the Welsh Language.

The charity's principal object is the arranging and staging of the Thaxted Festival. To promote and assist in the advancement of education in the Arts and Crafts including the arts of music and drama. To extend and increase the appreciation, knowledge and understanding of the arts and crafts in all their forms.

The church is there for the local community to provide Sunday worship, and baptisms, weddings and funerals. We extend fellowship and support to all members of the community and welcome all to church events. We also reach out to the whole community through our Parish Hall, Parish Magazine and Street Representatives.

We are an inclusive theatre company for young people in Islington. We give access to the transformative power of participation in the performing arts, irrespective of ability or income. We enable greater inclusion for those likely to be otherwise excluded: those with disabilities, mental health issues, or disadvantaged backgrounds. We do this through workshops, performances and community outreach.

To promote art for the benefit of the public by the establishment and maintenance of an art Gallery and to advance the education of the public in the subject of art.The organisation provides a centre for creativity with a arts programme for the communities of Northampton and beyond to participate in a range of activities/ experiences including exhibitions, performances, film, community events.

Holding regular public worship open to all; providing sacred space for prayer and contemplation; pastoral work, including visiting the sick, etc.; teaching and promoting Christianity through sermons, courses and literature; taking religious assemblies in schools; promoting the whole mission of the church through making our building/facilities available to the community; supporting other charities.

OYA runs a cluster of projects for African youngsters and their families on a council estate: a supplementary school (English, Maths, Science) for 11-16 years olds, a culture programme (African choir, dance, drama), a trainee scheme (paid Saturday jobs and training in youth work and administration) for 16-18 year olds, and a Family Programme including advice, advocacy and volunteering.

Educational grants to young people under the age of 25 resident within Sheffield city boundary.Grants are available to both individuals and to youth organisations.Grants are made to cover Gap year trips, sporting and musical tuition and towards education, usually below tertiary level.Grants are also made to local Church schools and to Church-based youth work.

We are a Pre-school, catering for children between the ages of 2 to 5 years old. We are open all year round. We have an extensive range of activities where the children learn through play. Activities include forest school, multi sports & yoga, cooking, painting, water play, sand play, working with tools, numbers, etc. We also operate a parent, baby & toddler group every Friday.

To educate the public in the art of British Folk music and dance, by presenting an annual festival. The term "Folk Music" shall include song, dance, traditional plays and crafts.To provide this and other events and to cultivate and diffuse the knowledge of and taste for British Folk Tradition and Arts.

Cimatheque Foundation supports and engages directly in a diverse range of cultural and artistic activities that are related to film in the Arab region and particularly Egypt, such as screenings, workshops, talks, educational and training initiatives, support of analogue film practice, archive collection and preservation, and the provision of various other film related resources.
