Arts Charities

The church have been working with the youth in Enfield borough through evangelism preaching the word of God and to promote good behaviour. We have also been putting up various activities such as gospel concert, football, and seminars.We plan to work with the London Borough of Enfield to raise funds to enable us to put on various projects such as health, and music lessons for youth and elderly.

Fusion Plus provide music making activities for young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity. We aim to access and engage young people through music.

IF OXFORD (OXFORDSHIRE SCIENCE FESTIVAL) AIMS TO ENGAGE AND ENTHUSE PEOPLE ABOUT SCIENCE AND CULTURE BY OFFERING ACCESSIBLE, CREATIVE AND RELEVANT ACTIVITIES TO THE BROADEST POSSIBLE RANGE OF PEOPLE. THE PROGRAMME IS DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE, WITH OR WITHOUT A BACKGROUND IN SCIENCE, TO BUILD SOCIAL AND CULTURAL CONNECTIONS, HAVE FUN AND PERHAPS EXPLORE A TOPIC THAT IS IMPORTANT TO, OR NEW TO THEM.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer andcontemplation. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching ofChristianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in thelocal primary school. Promotion of Christianity by producing a monthly Parish Magazine delivered free of charge.

Courses and study facilities in meditation and Buddhism. Yoga and tai chi. Visits to and from local schools and colleges. Information resource to the public with access to library. Day retreats and group for carers. Meditation courses designed for coping with depression and chronic pain. Open days and arts events. Celebration of Buddhist festivals. Financial support to practising Buddhists.

Cancer United is a cancer support charity for all those whose lives have been affected by a cancer diagnosisIt aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of cancer patients from diagnosis onwards and those close to them through its active recovery clubs which provide a whole variety of social engagements, its choir and via CU Fitter a cancer specific exercise programme

To hold Japan Matsuri (Japan Festival) at Trafalgar Square, London in September or October. About 50,000 people attend the event.To engage in planting of cherry trees at locations throughout UK.

A diverse music and arts organisation with a mission to support , develop and celebrate refugee and migrant artists, to engage through community projects with refugees and asylum seekers. Founded in 2 002 we have developed 3 main strands to our work: World Music including Refugee Week, Artist development with refugee and migrant artists, Community Engagement with refugees and asylum seekers. .

To advance arts and crafts by facilitating the provision of recycled scrap and surplus materials as a creative resource for adults and children with the aim of improving their social welfare and mental health and wellbeing. To facilitate creative art and training workshops for children and adults using these materials. To support likeminded artists and community groups in the local area and beyond

Develops the craft of composers, lyricists & book writers in musical theatre. MMD nurtures & showcases new talent.

Rawdhatul ilm provides education for children. These classes take place weekday evenings and on the weekend. This includes the main tenants of religion, the Arabic language and reading. Other activities include; youth activities, family fun days, weekly Friday prayer meetings, Ramadhan prayers, community iftars and also Eid prayers and celebrations which unites the community.

Restoration & operation of the Morecambe Winter Gardens Theatre as a viable music and arts venue, restoration and regeneration of the Grade II* listed building. Achieved by income generating activities: event space for hire, usage for commercial music concerts, culture & performance space and operation of catering services. Primary aim is income generation to secure its long term future.

A Day Centre & attendant services for the elderly of St Neots & District under Cambridgeshire Social Services; a Luncheon Club for retired persons falling outside Social Services parameters; Studio facilities for the local Talking Newspaper For the Blind; premises for low cost rent to other charities & non-profitmaking organisations; welfare relief for those who cannot obtain help elsewhere.

APT encourages participation in the visual arts through creative practice, exhibitions and education.

Organisation and presentation of annual Brighton Early Music Festival, including concerts, workshops and other events; year-round educational activities relating to training in early music skills and other concerts and events.

The provision of a modern, fully equipped and maintained, multi purpose community centre. Facilities include state of the art Cinema/Theatre, Meeting/Conference Rooms, Catering facilities, Art/Exhibition Gallery and leisure space. The Centre is currently run by more than one hundred volunteers with four full time and one part time employees.
