The mission of the American Museum is to educate, stimulate, and inspire its visitors in order to further the understanding of American history and culture. The Museum carries out this mission through the presentation of its historic rooms, its decorative art and folk art collections, and its special exhibitions, publications, educational programmes, and gardens.

The Charity's principal activities are the provision of legal education and the running of a specialist legal library and chapel.

Play to the Crowd Ltd (trading as Theatre Royal Winchester) is a 400 seat regional theatre situated in Winchester City providing a professional programme of mixed genre performances, and is the base for Hat Fair, street arts festival. The theatre also includes a Participation and Learning Department and facilities for hire.

The SPAB was founded in 1877. Today it is the largest, and most technically expert national pressure group fighting to save old buildings from decay, demolition and damage.We run training courses; comment on threats to historic buildings; operate a free technical helpline; conduct research; issue advisory publications and campaign on issues like the need for building maintenance.
