Arts Charities

The Church holds weekly services on Sundays at 10:15 am and 6:30 pm. A service will include singing of Christian hymns, prayer, reading from the Bible and a talk where some one will help us to understand what God is saying through the Bible; there are separate classes for children. We also have small groups that meet in homes during the week to study the Bible and pray together.

In the parish of Charmouth and surrounding areas: Give grants to individuals and charitable organisations to relieve poverty or sickness; help young people develop and become self-sufficient; educate people in all aspects of music; collect, preserve and communicate heritage. Internationally: Give grants to charitable organisations supporting the relief of homelessness, poverty or sickness.

The Charity's objects are:- To promote the efficiency of 101 Engineer Regiment in such charitable ways as the trustees may decide; - To make grants to any regimental charity or to any other charity or charitable organisation for the benefit of the Regiment, or any successor unit; - To make grants to any member or former member of the Regiment who is in need, hardship or distress.

General fundraising activities inc Fireworks night, uniform sales, theatre trips, discos etc to raise funds to enhance & support the learning for pupils of Owlsmoor Primary School.

The provision of the opportunity for residents of Egham and District to participate in the learning and performing of choral, musical and orchestral works.

The CIO exists to promote the education of the public in the history of Carisbrooke Castle and the Isle of Wight by the provision of a museum for the maintenance and public exhibition of a collection of objects, artefacts, specimens, books and documents and pictures and the extension, enhancement, conservation and maintenance of the collection.

The Royal Victoria Hall Foundation makes grants to professional theatrical companies within the London area, and makes ten Lilian Baylis Awards a year to help students who are selected by their Drama School to complete their training.

Produce one annual show and makes donation for worthy charity.

Inspiration In Motion promotes dance and performance arts, and focuses on promotion of ballet. We have three main activities: commissioning and supporting new worksbroadening the audiences for dancesupporting education and training We do this through award of grants to individuals and organisations.

The Charity operates an annual festival of literature, the arts and the outdoors as well as outreach programmes for young people.

Musical and operatic society

Co-ordinates and supports activities of Women's Institutes in Bedfordshire. The Women's Institutes undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music culture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN AGRICULTURE, HOME CRAFTS, COUNTRY LIFE AND RELATED SUBJECTS. IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF MEMBERS TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES.

The principal activity of the charity in the year was the production of a musical for presentation to the public.

Providing grants to the needy. Holding prayers meetings, lectures and Islamic celebrations. Producing literature.

KCM Falmouth holds monthly Family services in the church which are great fun. The Choir holds regular concerts and we welcome visitors all year round from around the world. KCM has a very popular coffee shop which brings the community together. The Church Hall is now more accessible to everyone and is used for a great many groups etc.

Regular public worship open to all. The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons courses and small groups. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings, and the distribution of literature. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

By means of an annual conference, to ensure the gospel of Jesus Christ as has been entrusted with us is given full opportunity to be preached and to provide a prayerful and pastoral concern for missionaries

Operation of the Alpine Club Library; providing care of - and access to - the Alpine Club's collections of historic books, papers, archives, artefacts, photographs, and paintings. Open to the public on several days each week except during the month of August and the Christmas - New Year holiday time; for fixed appointments.

The charity produces a bi-annual journal and occasional newsletter. It holds an annual conference and an annual pilgrimage to the shrine of St Alban. An office is maintained to receive public enquiries, together with an extensive reference library and a website giving information about the Fellowship. Grants are awarded.

Regular worship services open to all (Eucharists, Morning prayer, Evening prayer). Providing sacred space for prayer and contemplation. Community and social activities and events (Summer Fair, Christmas Fair, Gardeners' Question Time, Concerts, Thanksgiving services, Fireworks night). Working with young people, local school assemblies and visits.Pastoral work and promotion of Christianity.

The HHCA is based at Holloway Hall Community Centre, it is a place available for all the community. We have many different groups that use the facilities, from local Community groups to Childrens playschemes to Commercial hirers e.g Tai chi or Zhumba dance or family celebrations. Any profits are put back into the local community user groups or maintaining the hall itself.

TO ADVANCE THE BHATRA SIKH CULTURE AND RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB AND TO CELEBRATE THE SIKH RELIGIOUS FESTIVALS TO MEET THE WELFARE AND EDUCATIONAL AND CAPACITY BUILDING NEEDS OF THE BHATRA SIKH COMMUNITY TO WORK PARTICULARLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE BHATRA SIKH COMMUNITY IN CARDIFF AND GENERALLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE BHATRA SIKH COMMUNITY WITHIN THE U.K.

To educate the public in the dramatic and operatic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts. Chingford Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society is an amateur dramatic group based in Mornington Hall, Chingford, E4 where we rehearse and perform. Mornington Hall is a community hall run by the group and used by other local groups for both adults and children.
