Arts Charities

The objects of the charity are fulfilled primarily by the organisation of an annual chamber music festival with concerts open to the public and associated activities including a free outreach project delivered to local schools.

Museum of Timekeeping holds for public benefit a collection and library to inspire and promote public understanding and appreciation of horology and the history, science, art and craft of timekeeping, by collecting, documenting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting a collection and library to promote public enjoyment and understanding through exhibitions, public & educational programmes.

We are dedicated to supporting creative artists associated to the world of dance and photography. We operate independently and fund projects without involvement in creative choices. We are not affiliated with any religious or political group. Our focus is solely on supporting the work of artists with a commitment to serving all individuals regardless of their background or beliefs

Advancement of Christian faith, in particular but not limited to, the production and distribution of literature to enlighten others about the Christian religion and the relief of persons in need by reason of financial harship, illl-health, disability, poverty or such other social or economic disadvantage.

In line with the WI at national and county level, our monthly meetings for local women feature speakers and activities which entertain, educate and connect. These are supplemented by social outings and smaller groups covering interests such as gardening, crafts, reading, walking and darts. We also run Warm Welcome in Old Catton, on the first and third Tuesday morning of each month.

To promote, for the benefit of the public, the arts, providing that they are of recognised cultural, aesthetic or educational value and foster, promote, and increase public taste and knowledge of the arts and in particular the active encouragement and dvelopment of children in the arts.

Display of paintings and other works of art, changed on an monthly basis, the centre is open to the public Tuesday, Thursday (10am - 4pm) and Saturday mornings. The Arts Society premises are used for Local Authority classes in Painting and are used by the various member groups (Painting, Dancing, Choral, Music, Patchwork etc.) to carry out their activities.

THE TRUST PROVIDES AND MAINTAINS GOSPEL HALLS FOR THE RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES OF CHRISTIANS, OFTEN REFERRED TO AS 'BRETHREN'. THE TRUST ALSO HOLDS PUBLIC OUTREACH DAYS AND DISTRIBUTES NUTRITIOUS FOOD PACKAGES AND GOSPEL LITERATURE TO HOMELESS AND NEEDY PERSONS DETAILS OF THE ORIGINS, TEACHINGS AND WAY OF LIFE OF THE BRETHREN CAN BE FOUND ON THEIR WEBSITE - WWW.PLYMOUTHBRETHRENCHRISTIANCHURCH.ORG.

Burnham Community Association offers a range of services and activities in and around the village of Burnham in Buckinghamshire, These include community transport schemes, an information centre and older people's clubs. Its sub groups include Friends of Burnham Library, Round and About community Magazine and Burnham Carnival.

To provide a village hall for public use by village organisations for various activities eg drama group, WI, badminton group, karate, carpet bowls, etc.

We organise and run African music, dance,story and drumming workshops in UKWe run schools in UgandaWe are providing Education to the needy children in villages in Uganda.We also provide accomodation to those children.Build Dorms,buy beds and beddings We also provide feeding facilities and water to those children We conduct choir tours to the UK to fundrise for the charity

Rideout (Creative Arts for Rehabilitation) specialises in drama, theatre and multi-artform projects for prisoners, ex-offenders in the community, and other groups experiencing social exclusion including autistic adults and adults with learning disabilities. In addition we also deliver programmes that engage the general public in issues of criminal and social justice.

THE ADVANCEMENT AND PROPAGATION OF THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL AND THE PROMOTION OF TEACHING ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE CHRISTIAN LIFE AND FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHING OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. THIS INCLUDES PROVISION OF ONLINE MATERIALS, BOOKS AND SUPPORT FOR LEADERS OF THE SYCAMORE PROGRAMME IN CHURCHES

We run creative workshops in East London for refugees, people seeking asylum, other forced migrants and local residents. We have an allotment where we engage in gardening and growing activities, to alleviate stress and share food stories. We also host public events, publish books and videos and run school workshops, to educate the general public about the lived experiences of forced migration.

DECIBELS HAS ESTABLISHED A LEARNING UNIT ON A UNIVERSITY CAMPUS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF SOUND,MUSIC,THE ARTS,PERFORMANCE AND TECHNOLOGY.THE LATEST RESEARCH ICT (INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY) MODULES ARE "VISUAL MUSIC" AND "RHYTHM OF SILENCE" AND THEY ARE BEING USED BY DEAFAX,TEACHERS,PARENTS,STUDENTS,AND WITH CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH A VARIETY OF DISABILITIES.

Village Information and Advice Centre for advice,training,debt and money advice,advocacy,internet , legal, benefits, form filling , literacy support, village magazine, craft workshop,hospital transport, housing related problems

The charity aims to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in the appreciation of the art and science of music, in all its aspects.

Activities carried out during the reporting period1. Immigration Advice program organised on 24th April 2014 2. Hall rental and providing space to celebrate different type of community festivals during the year. 3. Made donations to needy and vulnerable dependents who lost their partners.

The Centre provides activities for young people aged 10-19. The programme includes media & music, arts, crafts & dance workshops, sports activities, holiday programmes, residentials and open access sessions. For those involved in/likely to be involved in, antisocial/criminal behaviour the Centre provides alternative challenges. The Centre is a community resource which can be hired for events.
