Arts Charities

We provide support and services to over 30 member group organisations and vulnerable adults. In addition we provide library services, nursery, coffee bar, leisure facilities and a members bar.Predominately for the inhabitants of Morton and the wider Carlisle area.

To engage and educate the public in the arts, particularly performance, music, drama, poetry reading, sculpture, painting, handicrafts and other arts; and encourage public participation in the arts by the presentation creative activities, exhibitions and festivals in the City of Kingston upon Hull and its environs. The core of this activity centres around the annual Freedom Festival.

The charity stages a biennial international piano festival and international piano concerto competition in Hastings, East Sussex providing public concerts and recitals, together with year round educational activities and other musical events designed to encourage the appreciation of music among all age groups.

COPE is a forum for editors and publishers of scholarly journals to discuss all aspects of publication ethics. It also provides support, education, and advises editors on how to handle cases of research and publication misconduct.

Established in 1884 Oxford House is an arts and community centre in Bethnal Green. Oxford House provides (1) a community space including cafe, affordable office and hire space; (2) a creative place with classes and activities for all ages in the theatre, dance studio, gallery, chapel, and roof terrace and (3) a place to volunteer.

1) Donations to national charities in the field of support, relief and welfare of disabled or handicapped people, or those otherwise in need of help. Charities involved in research on human diseases and particularly their cause and prevention.2) Music and Theatre Awards under a scheme adminstered by the Musicians Benevolent Fund, post graduate study only.

A day centre for Homeless people in Salford. We provide shower and laundry facilities, advocacy, dental service, doctor's surgery and tv lounge. Clients can enjoy a hot meal from our cafe area and can relax or play pool in the TV lounge area. We also engage clients in activities e.g. arts and crafts, bingo, reading, street soccer and put on training courses for clients from time to time.

Improbable has been presenting award-winning theatre, from very small scale performances to large scale plays and operas, for 20 years. We add high-quality work to the cultural landscape, and tour our work as much as possible to benefit those living outside London. We also run Open Space forums around the state of the arts and contemporary theatre practice.

Run Cinematic, Theatrical & Arts entertainment and provide facilities to local voluntary organisations to run similar events and to provide a community centre.

Wyeside Arts Centre offers a stimulating and entertaining Arts programme of breadth and quality, accessible to everyone, including: Live shows, Cinema, Satellite Live! screenings, Visual Arts exhibitions, Workshops, Youth Theatre, Community and Educational events for the people of Mid Wales.

Provides support for Church of England Schools throughout the diocese of Lincoln (Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire). Promotes a christian ethos within these schools and their communities. Provides training in the teaching of Religious Education, school Improvement consultancy and services, governor and senior teacher training. Hosts schools festivals and other events.

The Mission is an inter-denominational Christian organisation whose objective is to take the Christian Gospel to the people. The Mission presents the Gospel among children in school assemblies and beach missions; in the open air and at public activities such as race meetings, and distributes Christian literature in the course of its work. There is close co-operation with Christian Churches.

The Cart Shed uses the natural environment to offer opportunities to try something new, improve well-being, find friendships and a place of calm. Based in Herefordshire our activities which include coppicing, coppice crafts and horticulture lend themselves to enabling individuals to explore ways to overcome and accept episodes in their lives they find difficult to manage.

Iniva engages with culturally diverse practices and ideas by creating exhibitions, publications, multimedia, education and research projects designed to bring the work of artists from culturally diverse backgrounds to the attention of the widest possible public.

The Trust administers royalties due from the hymn How Great Thou Art! and its derivatives, invest the receipts and ensure that the resulting funds are used for charitable purposes only.

Holland House is a Christian Centre with a beautiful chapel. It provides residential accommodation with excellent food and facilities, for courses and retreats for groups or individuals. It strongly supports and welcomes Interfaith Groups, Charitable Groups, schools (eg headteachers forums), Wellbeing in the form yoga, mediation, spiritual direction, and music and art groups.

We provide workshops and 1:1 support to those with young onset dementia. Examples of our workshops are: choir, cycling, running, katakanuing, art, walking, gardening and drama. 1:1 support is tailored to the interests of the individual e.g. shopping, bowling, swimming, dog walking. We also provide an education course to those with young onset dementia and their family and carers.
