As a producing theatre-in-the-round with a full community and education programme, the Orange Tree promotes live theatre to as wide a community as possible, encourages new and "undiscovered" writing and offers resource to the community.

The principal activities of the charity during the year were the promotion and advancement of musical education for public benefit, and the support of the practice and performance of chamber orchestra music by the giving of public concerts.

To advance and promote education and enjoyment for the benefit of the public locally, nationally and internationally, by the encouragement of arts and heritage, in particular the areas of dramatic art, music and exhibitions. BAC's mission is to inspire people to take creative risks to shape the future.

Chickenshed is established for the advancement of education in the fields of the arts, principally for the benefit of young persons including all who may require help with mobility, communication, behaviour or self-help skills or with social development with a view to educating them in such fields, integrate them into the community and assist them in their development as members of society.

The principal activity of the company is the running of the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford. This involves the mounting of in-house productions by the company, and performances toured into the theatre by outside production companies. The company also tours its own in-house productions to other theatres throughout the country.

SCI aims to advance the science of applied chemistry sciences for the public good by: furthering the application of scientific discoveries to the products and processes of industry; providing a forum in which discussions on the opportunities and issues of industry can take place, and publishing journals and books; granting medals, scholarships and other awards; all such other charitable means.

The Photographers Gallery Limited is a registered charity whose objects are to further advance photography as an art form, promote public knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the medium and organise public exhibitions and educational projects to these ends. The Photographers Gallery is a company limited by guarantee governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association.

The Institute's mission is to help bring about sustainable improvements in employment policy and HR management for the benefit of all. The Society's main activities include publishing journals and books, providing grants to support mathematics and organising scientific meetings and lectures. The Society is also involved in policy and strategic work to support mathematics and research. This work includes engaging with government on mathematics policy, participating in international initiatives and promoting the discipline.

Provides national coordination for the WI organisation; advances the education of women and girls in important local and national political and social issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects, agriculture, crafts, home economics, science, health and social welfare; promotes sustainable development; advances health and advances citizenship by promoting civic responsibility and volunteering.

The charity uses different art forms to entertain, educate & stimulate audiences, participants and users to contribute towards a more cohesive community.

Support of the Royal Northern College of Music and the Junior School at the Royal Northern College of Music and the advancement of the education of its students and former students.

The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment is a world renowned orchestra which plays on original instruments. Being run and artistically led by its players, it works with leading artists as well as nurturing the next generation of musicians. The OAE strives to reach the widest audience possible through performance, its school residency and established education programmes.
