DAC works throughout Wales to promote equal opportunities in the arts for disabled people. Our services include:- arts-specific disability equality training; consultations around disability policy and implementation, relating to the arts; information/advice; development work to increase opportunities in the arts for disabled people; large scale strategic projects; publications; membership scheme

THE PROVISION OF ITEMS OR SERVICES WHICH WILL HELP TO IMPROVE STANDARDS OF LITERACY AND READING. THE PROVISION OF READING MATERIALS TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE EFFECTS OF ISOLATION, POVERTY AND MENTAL HEALTH.

To support the creativity and cultural life of young people up to 30 years of age living in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands area by(a) Providing a rolling programme of arts and cultural projects, events, training and, where possible, employment ; and(b) Offering access to dedicated arts space;

The provision of music therapy for the following purposes:Relief of physical and mental illness and disability, congenital or acquiredProtection and promotion of good health Alleviation of developmental, emotional and social difficulties Promotion and publication of research concerning the therapeutic use of music in connection with the above.

The objects of the CIO are as follows: 1) To advance the education of the public in Fallowfield and the surrounding area by the provision of a lending library. 2) To benefit residents via advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

Regular public worship open to all. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings and the distribution of literature. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

The provision of recreational and sporting facilities for children and adults. Sports and recreation include rugby, tennis, bridge, football, archery, amateur radio.

The Playground Studio provides the conditions that are essential to the creative theatre making process by providing space, inviting leading artists/teachers to run workshops on specialised subjects and by encouraging individuals within the group to lead workshops on their own personal specialties.

The objects of the Charity are to promote worldwide education in Laryngology Otology & Rhinology to improve treatment of patients suffering from diseases of the ear nose throat and neck by publishing The Journal of Laryngology and Otology: to disseminate educational material through its website: to give awards for the best research published in The Journal: to support trainees in ENT.

Promote and advance the visual arts by exhibiting works of artistic excellence; and providing gallery, studio space and other facilities for the public Educate the public in arts and crafts in particular but not exclusively by the provision of a community arts centre, arts information hub, workshops, classes and arts festivalBased in the old Sunwin House building in Keighley

To promote the arts of dance music (including singing) and drama.

The objects of the charity are to advance education in the fields of visual, creative and applied arts by the establishment and maintenance of an art gallery and in particular the provision of studies and galleries where art may be practiced, created and exhibited and public exhibitions of art for the benefit of the public.

Dyslexia Sparks offers support to individuals of all ages with dyslexia and related SPLDs. We provide dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments to children and adults via private referral. We offer specialist tuition to children and adults to develop literacy and maths skills, as well as study skills, time management and report-writing. We provide teacher training as well as support to organisations.

The Foundation provides music tuition and performance opportunities to children and young people living in Pimlico. The Foundation benefits the wider community by organising high quality choral performances in local venues, thus improving access to culture in the area. It promotes social cohesion by encouraging contact between people of different ages, faiths, ethnicities and backgrounds.

The encouragement of the study of music and the art of playing brass band instruments, together with the education of the public in this sphere of the musical art.

Our aim is to enable people with learning disabilites and autism to take part in the arts and to produce theatre and film that helps them to explore the issues that are most important to them, increase their skills and independence, improve their helath and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and and become more visible and active in their communities.

CARESCO works to meet needs within the community of Sawtry and the surrounding villages in the county of Cambridgeshire. To do this CARESCO runs a day care club, a weekly cafe, a car scheme, a Christmas Day party, a carers group, the local food bank, a prescription delivery service, a men's shed, a social club and a charity shop. CARESCO also edits and publishes the village magazine.

North Lambeth Parish uses its Churches and halls to further its stated mission. We provide space and supervision to the following:- Scouts, Cubs, Brownies and Boys Brigade, employment training, music groups, amateur dramatics, ballet, nursery, ex-offenders support, community meetings, worship groups, after school clubs and academic support sessions.

The conducting of religious services, organisation of Church groups, arranging special events ie concerts, dinners, evangelistic campaigns and other means of evangelism,The identification and provision of practical aid / support for those in crises including the making of donations to needy causes and other charities.

The Bloomsbury Festival delivers an annual cultural Festival in central London in conjunction with local partners.

MUSIC ACTION INTERNATIONAL CREATE LIFE-CHANGING MUSIC PROGRAMMES WITH WAR SURVIVORS TO OVERCOME THE EFFECTS OF WAR-RELATED TRAUMA. EVERY YEAR, WE SUPPORT AROUND 2000 CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULT REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS AFFECTED BY WAR, SEXUAL VIOLENCE, TORTURE, DISCRIMINATION, HATE CRIME, AND RELATED TRAUMA IN THE UK, SIERRA LEONE AND BOSNIA-HERCEGOVINA.

The main activity of the Group is the annual conference.This provides proceedings, a large exhibition of equipment, creates a strong networking environment for the sharing of knowledge and offers a large number of bursaries to enable newly qualified and new-to-the-field members.There are other training activities, an active web site including an online journal and a Research Fund.
