THE OBJECT OF THE GROUP IS TO FURTHER THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS METHOD AS DEFINED IN ITS POLICY ORGANISATION AND RULES

Physical & personal development as an individual & as a group member. To participate in society as a good citizen.

a) Maintain & embellish the fabric, furnishing & fittings of St Mary's Church, Redbourn. b) Maintain, protect and beautify the churchyard of the said church.

Meeting place for community & social groups, including over 60s, dance schools, playgroups, exercise classes, sewing & flower groups, games for elderly, drama group, and talks by visiting speakers.

Provide catering for visitors. Promote friendship, education, crafts. Provides a hall available to all groups to use. Help to improve the environment.

We fund Hospitals, Orphanages,homes for the elderly and bodies distributing relief to the needy and educational organisations, including schools, in Malawi.

Providing scouting activities for children aged 6 - 14 including Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop

We are a uniformed youth group providing facilities for young people between 10 and 18 in the Harrogate & District area, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

Donations to primarily local organisations to aid them in general or a specific activity.

SCOUT GROUP UNDERTAKING NUMEROUS EDUCATION ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS

Coffee Mornings and Community lunches, WI, Indoor bowls,Table tennis, Bingo, Tea Dances, Amateur Dramatics and General fund raising events, Hall hire (parties, weddings, keep fit, etc...) plus Play Area and Playing Field maintenance.

To foster good, open relations and communications within the school community, between parents and school staff. To run a programme of events and activities throughout the year designed to: A: Promote the PTA's first aim; B: To provide additional funds for the school to purchase extra equipment, and C: Engage in activities and experiences to enrich the childrens opportunities at school.

Instruction and training based on the customs of the Royal Navy. We deliver training within our unit and the Solent, but we also have access to training courses run by the Sea Cadet Corps at District, Area and National level.

To encourage men to discover the joy of singing and to develop the skills and ability to sing in a choir. To encourage and assist in the raising of funds for local charitable organisations in support of their local community activities.

General Charitable purposes

To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Poole Old Town.To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.To provide social and well being activities for the inhabitants of the area of benefit.

Local scout group providing scouting activities for young people ages 5-15.

Fund raising for UK and overseas charities

We raise money which is used to fund projects & purchase equipment that enriches the lives of the children within Molescroft Primary School. We do this by organising events such as summer/Christmas Fayre, discos, cinema nights & band nights. We also raise funds by serving refreshments at as many school events as we can eg sports days/tournaments, concerts, shows & parents evenings.
