To advance the education of the pupils of Saltaire Primary School by the provision of facilites for education at the school (not normally provided by the local education authority).

The Charity raises funds, primarily from its annual North Downs Walk but also from other organised events, for the benefit of national and local charities, local clubs and societies, and other local (within the area of the Weald of Kent) worthy causes.

Our aim, and that of the Scout Association, is to help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as Members of their local, national and international communities.

WE PROVIDE TRAINING TO CHILDREN FROM THE AGES OF 10 TO 18. OUR TRAINING IS BASED ON A NAVAL THEME AND INCLUDES WATER BASED ACTIVITIES IN VARIOUS CRAFT AS WELL AS MANY SUBJECTS INCLUDING ENGINEERING AND COMMUNICATIONS . THERE ARE ALSO A LARGE NUMBER OF COURSES WHICH THE CHILDREN CAN ATTEND IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER CHILDREN IN THE DISTRICT, AREA AND NATIONALLY.

The Gatty Hall functions as the centre of village life for the community of Ecclesfield and the surrounding area. Weekly activities on offer are badminton, ballroom dancing, hand bell ringers, Brownies, Guides, playgroup, toddler & mums group, craft workshop, mothers union, ladies group, line dancing, dancing class, local M.P. monthly surgery and ad hoc bookings. The Scout Group provides a balanced programme of activities which offer a wide range of age related opportunities for children between the ages of 6 and 14yrs. We are a co-educational group who accept children from a diverse range of social, economic and cultural backgrounds. The Groups primary objective remains: to provide affordable activities to all young people in the area.

Donations given to local & overseas charities

The hall provides a venue for various activities rather than organising events ourselves.

PROVISION OF SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE ANDOVER AREA FROM AGE 6 TO 15 YEARS AND PREPARING THEM FOR PROGRESSION TO EXPLORER SCOUTS.

MSSC is a sports and social club for visually impaired people and sighted members. We run regular cycling, walking, bowls, darts, swimming, canoeing and social activities including quizzes, theatres, brewery tours and much more from our base in Colliers Wood, Merton. We try to partner with other organisations in Merton and beyond that support us through fundraising and shared activities.

Organises events and fund raising for the benefit of the school and local community.

Hire of said centre to a variety of groups (voluntary) to enable the local and surrounding community to have somewhere to hold their activities/meetings etc...

Fundraising events for school

The Friends of Westfield (The Friends) is a parent based organisation whose sole function is to support Bourne Westfield Primary Academy.We organise social and fundraising events that are inclusive of the whole community these include a Christmas Fair, Summer Fete, Used Uniform Sales, School Calendars, Film nights, Discos and parties for the children.

Weekly meeting of Scout troop, Cubs and Beavers, plus camps and fundraising activities.

To raise money for the school, to provide play equipment, educational resources and support school educational events.

EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT OF WOMEN MOSTLY IN A RURAL COMMUNITYTALKS AND DEMONSTRATIONS BOTH CULTURAL AND INFORMATIVE

Ludlow Scout Group has over 80 young people aged between 6 and 18. Some of the activities that the young people experience including camping, canoeing, map reading, survival techniques, the development of teamwork, and cooking over an open fire.
