The main purposes of the WI are to enable women who are interested in the issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to advance their education in citizenship, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. It seeks to give to women the opportunity of putting into practice those ideals for which it stands.

General charitable purposes including assisting with medical,health and sickness. Disability, relief of poverty, accommodation and housing. Religious activities, environmental, conservation and heritage issues. Economicc,community development and employment

The object of the charity is to secure the preservation of the building known as St Lawrence Little Stanmore for the benefit of the nation.

FUNDS ARE RAISED FOR VARIOUS REGISTERED CHARITIES

To provide financial assistance to All Saints Church, Willian, Letchworth Garden City, Herts.

The fund raising activities include: Christmas Fayre, school discos, Autumn/Easter craft events, book fairs, school sponsored walk, sports day refreshments, art projects, mobile phone collection and the Yellow Moon catalogue

Provision of facilities for general social activities for the community.

Fundraising for Carleton Rode Primary School, equipment, visits, visitors etc

Providing training and life skills based around a Naval culture.

Further the education/knowledge of members by way of speakers and visits to places of interest. Fundraising to support this educational activity and also in support of local charities that give support to our local community.

To promote the permanent preservation and improvement of the Common for the benefit of the public generally and especially for the inhabitants of the Parish of Dunsfold by: working closely with the Parish Council; spending money on the upkeep of the Common; acting as a focal in matters relating to the Common.

Womens Institute - aims as per the National Federation of Womens Institutes

To conserve, maintain, conserve, repair and improve the fabric, fittings, furnishings, wall paintings and churchyard of St Michael & All Angels (a grade 1 listed building) in Copford, Essex, for public worship and for the benefit of the public & community.

RELIEF OF SUCH POOR AND DISTRESED BROTHER MASONS OR OTHER POOR AND DISTRESSED WIDOWS AND CHILDREN OR TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH MASONIC CHARITIES OR OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS, SOCIETIES AND OBJECTS AS THE LODGE SHALL IN DULY CONSTITUED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.

FUNDRAISING - QUIZ/WINE & SAVOURIES. FUN RUN. ACTIVITIES WITH PUPILS, PARENTS AND OUR COMMUNITY.

To raise funds for the upkeep and repair of the fabric of St. Peter's Church, Hall Green, Birmingham. Fundraising activities are mainly local to the church and generally consist of local events e.g. barbecues, coach trips, supper & entertainment evenings. We also run a Fifty/fifty club on a monthly basis.

Provide a warm comfortable building for meetings of women's institute, dog training, whist drives, dancing classes, birthdays, funerals etc.

We raise money for local and national charities by running local events eg sponsored walks, quiz nights, BBQ's, lunches, and raffles. or anything that help raise funds.
