Associations Charities

Funded by events organised by dedicated members of the commitee to provide facilities for patients being cared for at the community hospital and associated out patient services on the Bletchley site.

THE CHARITY IS PREDOMINANTLY A MASONIC CHARITY, HOWEVER IN 2014to2015 . WE GAVE GRANTS TO NON-MASONIC CHARITIES. GRANTS WENT TO THE BLOODFAST EVS:SOLDIERS SAILORS AIRMEN FAMILIES ASSOCIATION. GRANTS WERE 50% TO MASONIC CHARITIES AND 50% TO OTHER CHARITIES. WE ALSO ORGANISED RAFFLES FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES.

Raise funds for the maintenance and improvement of the fabric of our village church (a grade I listed building).

Collecting monies from members and the proceeds from raffles and distributing it to registered charities.

SCOUTING

Our local W.I. provides members with guest speakers. These speakers offer a wide variety of topics and information.We also hold coffee mornings and support local activities within the community.

Funding for the sick, elderly and education of children, and donations to local Charities

The West Community Centre runs a variety of activities which include Marshal Arts, Table Tennis , Chat and Craft as well as other activities that include the use of the facility with our community.

Jumble sale. Coffee morning. Harvest supper. Cake stalls.

We hold activities during and after the school day within the school. Various activities include school fayres, bingo evenings, film nights and discos.

Masonic charity collecting money and donating to various organisations including "Alone in London", and charities sponsored by United Grand Lodge.

Support of local and national charities and good causes - all with the consent and permission of the brethren of the Humber Lodge of Freemasons, No.57.

We are based in Rye Park area of Hoddesdon. We do various scouting activities for boys and girls aged 5 3/4 to 15 years cover Beavers, Cubs and Sea Scouts.

We award grants to young people wanting to attend Christian camps; who otherwise could not afford to do so. The camps organise physical and social activities and seek to develop the physical, mental and spiritual capabilities of the young.

To raise money for the repair and improvement of St Peters Church Harrold

Collects and distributes donations from members of a masonic lodge.

Raffles, General Meetings, Sponsored Walks and othe sponsored activities such as sports events are used to raise funds

To raise and provide funds for the purpose of either supplementing in such a manner as the Friends think fit the resources of the hospital services or putting such funds or part thereof at the disposal of the Hospital Management Committee of the Hospitals.
