South Tyneside Deaf Centre regular meet every 2 week on a Friday & every Monday at South Tyneside Deaf Club, 8 Charlotte Terrace, south Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE33 4NU. We meet regular to discuss the well being of the members through health and education that will benefit us also we do recreation for the well being of our members in the area of Tyne & Wear

Weekly befriending coffee sessions for multicultual communities especially the isolated; setting up of a community info point. Weekly children & youths activities including, group discussions, games, setting up of community library. Educational trips and half term music workshop. Community Visitations. Evangelistic outreach. Advice and counselling. Donations to individuals and charities.

Take Heart was established to help relieve sickness and protect health among persons suffering from heart disease and to promote the advancement of education in heart disease, its causes and implications. In particular it promotes the welfare and care of cardiac patients at home and in hospital and provides social and personal contact with people who share and understand a patient's needs.

We purchase medical equipment to benefit patients of the Hartington Surgery

A public museum for housing and exhibition of relics belonging to Dr Samuel Hahnemann, a public library for housing and reading of publications of Dr Samuel Hahanemann. All in aid of advancement of the teaching and practice of homeopathy and research in matters relating to homeopathy

The George Barton Motor Neurone Disease (Research) Trust raise funds for extensive research into this devastating disease. Research has taken the form of drug trials involving patient participation and experimental studies at cellular level. The results of these have been presented at both National and International level, in the medical press and at scientific meetings and symposia.

Upkeep and maintenance of Ruthin Ambulance Hall, which was built for use of the St John Ambulance & Red Cross Groups as well as other community groups.

We provide weekly audio newsletters on digital memory stick, containing news extracted from local newspapers, and bi-monthly audio magazines containing interviews, short stories and articles of local interest.The service is free of charge to Listeners including the supply of digital players.

Provide Support, Advice and Activities for families with children who have any level of hearing loss.

Transmits radio programmes to the patients and staff of Mount Vernon Hospital.

RUNNING A WEEKLY (MONDAY AFTERNOON) CLUB MEETING WITH VARIOUS ACTIVITIES INCLUDING CRAFT, POETRY READINGS,QUIZZES, MUSICAL EVENTS, SPEAKERS, OUTINGS AND LUNCHES.

Broadcast radio to patients of Nottingham City Hospital and the Queens Medical Centre. Both hospitals are governed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.In addition we now broadcast on the Alexa Smart speaker.However, content is hospital based.

Purchase a variety of equipment to support Yalding Surgery to provide the best medical care possible to the patients.

HELP IS AVAILABLE IN THE FORM OF SMALL GRANTS AND LOANS TO THOSE IN FINANCIAL NEED OR WITH UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL BURDENS IN THE VILLAGES OF BARKWAY AND NUTHAMPSTEAD. THE CHARITY CAN HELP INDIVIDUALS WITH THE PROVISION OF ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, PAYMENT FOR SERVICES, HOSPITAL VISITS AND OTHER SUCH EXPENSES.

Purchase of equipment and resources to support the medical care of the population in Bromyard area. The equipment will be used by the Primary Health care team , Community team and Community Hospital.

The charity provides activities for the benefit of the local community in the village hall at West Stockwith such as Bingo, charity auctions, coffee mornings,District Council polling, District Council surgeries, film parties, pantomimes, Parish Council, private parties, themed food evenings and quizzes.

The society provides practical and moral support for registered and partially sighted persons living in Todmorden. This includes the making of financial grants, visits by committee members, a monthly drop in, lunch (at present twice a year) at local hostelries and evening social gatherings (at present twice a year)
