Day Support Service based in Lancaster, Supporting Adults, and Young People with Learning disabilities, Mental Health issues, Autism and Physical disabilities Activities include education, social skills, work based skills, sports, recreation and health.

Current activities include: gymnastics exercise programme which is both dementia-friendly and age-friendly; hardship grants programme; sports leadership programme for parents interested in a career in sport and living in a deprived area, combined with a pre-school gymnastics course for their children; Gym Challenge in special school; gym day for Chernobyl children.

Social care agency for elders, Caribbean in particular resident in Hackney. A diverse and welcoming organisation providing social and cultural support. health and welfare information, lunch service, Advocacy and Outreach, assistance for elders with dementia via Mental Wellbeing program and expenditure advice via the Take care of the Pennies service.

To provide support for the relief of the mental and physical distress of people who have experienced sexual abuse and to provide the advancement of education of the public in the nature of sexual abuse and its effect on those who have been subject to it. These services are mainly provided through therapeutic counselling,training and advocacy and collaborative work with relevant other agencies.

The majority of our staff and trustees are Deaf or hard of hearing themselves and we fully understand the impact of living with hearing loss. 40tude is an innovative and successful charity that is tackling colon cancer.Since the organisation was founded in 2011 we have raised over £2.5 million to raise awareness and support ground-breaking research into the early diagnosis and treatment of colon (bowel) cancer. We are helping to fund ground-breaking research programmes at St. Mark's Hospital, the national bowel hospital.

Next Steps supports people with mental health problems in Ryedale, North Yorkshire, by providing a drop in centre, activities and outreach projects. Next Steps is governed by Trustees, which includes local professionals and service users. Our objectives are to provide emotional support, information, guidance, sign posting, rehabilitative activities and training opportunities.

ACTION AGAINST AGE RELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION ('AAAMD') WILL FACILITATE FUND RAISING FOR BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INTO THE TREATMENT OF AMD AND BE A DATA SOURCE OF RELATED INFORMATION.
