Provision of accommodation for local Divisions of St John Ambulance.

To ensure that all blind or visually impaired ex-Service men and women throughout the United Kingdom who become our members are given the emotional and physical support required to enable them to lead independent lives, in spite of their blindness or visual impairment.

Giving grants to young mothers to assist with their young childrens needs. e.g stair gates, shoes, high chairs

The provision of bi monthly digital recorded media and audio cassettes if requested for blind and sight impaired persons in the Exeter area

Raise money to buy equipment and sundries for Solihull Hospital solely for the purpose of the welfare of the patients. We also provide a trolley service to all the wards serving sweets confectionary and non alcoholic drinks to the patients. We also run golf days, summer fete, social functions and a sales in the hospital for the visitors on a weekly basis.

Eye care prevention, education and eye operations.

To provide a support club for people in and around Esher who are recovering from a stroke. Weekly meetings with various activities and an opportunity to meet similarly affected people and form a support network.

We record all the main news from the two local newspapers on to memory sticks and post these to visually impaired people throughout North Somerset every week. We supply every listener with a USB memory stick player free of charge.

Providing a weekly 'Talking Newspaper' on U.S.B memory sticks for local people with impaired sight who live in The Forest of Dean and surrounding areas.
