Annual income for the benefit before, during & after confinement of needy women in Ramsgate plus assisting needy children in Ramsgate up to the age of 5 years.

To provide funds to supplement the resources of the hospital service. To make submission on any matter of NHS or management policy within the hospital as so far as it affects the residents of the hospital. To support research into the causes, prevention and treatment of mental handicap

Social group for blind and partially sighted people. Monthly meetings with tea and entertainment.

TO AID RESIDENTS IN BOLLINGTON IN TIMES OF NEED THROUGH SICKNESS OR DISABILITY

Community radio station broadcasting to Harefield village and the world famous Harefield Hospital.

Provides free audio recordings of news information and entertainment for visually impaired people.

We produce an audio version of our local weekly newspaper, The Wallingford Herald, and other community magazines. Volunteers meet each week to read articles onto digital media which are distributed the next day to up to 40 people with visual or reading difficulties. Each registered listener is provided by the charity with an audio player to listen the recorded news.

Table top sales, coffee mornings, raffles. Donations given by patients in appreciation of help given to elderly relatives by the medical staff. Donations given in memoriam of lost loved ones. Occasional sponsored walk by staff.

We provide music, information and visiting service to patients in hospital community as well as promoting good health and advice.

Provision of news services to blind people in the Richmondshire area.

Provision of recorded local news and information for the blind and partially sighted of West Berkshire

Fundraising wholly for the use of the doctors and nurses of Constantine Surgery, who supply to their patients and equip the practice with services and items not available as the freely-supplied section their NHS funds.

Lodge Member donations to the Fund are used to make outgoingdonations to local hospices/homes

Record and provide USB audio & Alexa recordings containing local news to visually impaired members of the public.

The charity runs a small shop within the Adelaide complex to provide elderly and disabled clients the opportunity of personally purchasing small everyday items and treats. It also holds raffles and competitions with proceeds helping to purchase little luxuries such as televisions for bedrooms, regular live entertainers and Christmas presents and treats for the clients resident at Christmas.

Talking Newspaper for the blind and partially sighted covering the Linton area of Cambridgeshire.

Weekly Distribution of digital recordings of local newspaper to some 100 print disabled users.

The principal activity of the Charity is the promotion of sporting activities for deaf people throughout Great Britain, in local, regional national and international spheres

Provides weekly recorded news tapes of local news from the Whitehaven News newspaper to the visually impaired within our local area.
