The principle activity of the company is the study of disease of the skin and post graduate education of doctors, scientists and nurses.

Choral Society, we give 2 concerts a year in the local Church which are well-attended by local people. We give free tickets to accompanied under-16s. We have a retiring collection at the end of each concert for a particular charity chosen by the trustees, eg the local hospice.

Providing entertainment for hospital in patients

Raising funds to grant wishes to children aged 3-19years who are terminally or seriously ill or have disabilities

St Albans & Dacorum Day Hospice is part of Rennie Grove Hospice Care providing 24/7 responsive Hospice at Home service as well as a range of day services for patients and families in Herts .

To assist full paying members of the Fed (National Federation of Retail Newsagents ) with support during times of convalescence following an operation, illness or hospital visit in accordance with the guidelines contained within the Fed rules book.applications are made by Members applying to the Benefits committee who decide on the claim and grant a cash amount to the member.

The object of the charity is to hold and maintain the Almshouses in Bardney belonging to the charity for the residence of almspeople.

Day Care Centre/Stroke Club/Transport Service

The provision of leisure/educational activities and a non-alcoholic bar for young people in the Bridgnorth area under the supervision of qualified youth workers.The Bridge operates in the centre of Bridgnorth from its own premises which are open on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout the year.

Benefiting charities established to provide relief for persons suffering from cancer, disease of the heart, leukaemia, athritis or rheumatism, and charities established for the conduct of research into these illnesses.

Supports national charities,& local charities in NE & SE England. Interested in people with physical or mental handicaps: improving quality of life through equipment, activities and holidays;the young: with emphasis on improving prospects of employment by education and meaningful activities; health: improving quality of life of the ill, their carers and the old at home or in hospital.

We produce 55 memory sticks each week for blind and partially sighted residents or former residents of the Staffordshire Moorlands featuring the main items in the three local newspapers. We have about 30 loyal volunteers.

Propagation and spreading the faith of the Gaudiya Vaishnava (Hindu) religion as revealed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and taught by Srila B.R. Sridhar Maharaj and Srila B.S. Govinda Maharaj. Food distribution, support for poor and needy, counselling for trauma, support with addictions. Spiritual welfare.

The object of the Friends shall be to relieve patients, former patients and staff of The Hospital and other persons in the community who have health related issues. Among its activities the charity campaigns for patient access to complementary therapies and fosters intercommunication between health focussed organisations including charities and health authorities.

TO PROMOTE BUDDHISM AND TO MAKE IT EASILY ACCESIBLE TO THE UK'S GROWING BURMESE COMMUNITY AND NON BURMESE BUDDHISTS SUCH AS THAIS, SRI LANKANS, ETC ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUDDHISM FOR SPIRITUAL AND MEDITATION ETC.

Professional Counselling ServiceRetreats & Pilgrimages

Volunteers use their own cars to convey the elderly and the infirm to medical appointments, including doctors surgeries, hospitals, dentists, opticians, physiotherapy, podietry and osteopathy.

The Club has existed since 1903 to teach all members to use firearms safely & and to a high standard of competence. We accept people of all ages and capabilities and of either gender.We accept wheel chair bound people where this is compatible with out range capabilities and are developing a facility for blind shooters. We have strong links with the Scout Movement and local High Schools.

Holidays & outings for families under stress. Provide clothing for prem babies in Derbyshire hospitals & toiletries for emergency admissions. Provide Helpful Books for children in Primary Schools. Support for women's refuges & help with project for young girls caught up in prostitution. We help run parenting groups and Mother & Toddler groups. Provide Moses Baskets for Derby Refugee Centre.

Support for all people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS

1 to 1 and group Counselling for adults and/or children who have experienced a bereavement or loss

The charity gives aid to the patients of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London that does not normally fall within the scope of the NHS or other bodies providing financial support to patients.

Makes grants to organisations with an emphasis on deaf and blind charities or those related to autism. There is an emphasis on smaller charities where our contribution is more likely to make a significant difference,and geographically towards North and West Oxfordshire.

Restore is dedicated to working towards a future free from the physical and psychological damage of scarring, supporting outstanding doctors as Research Fellows, supervised from Oxford and London Universities. This vital work can benefit anyone suffering from scarring, whether sustained through burning, trauma, essential surgery, birth defects or cancer, regardless of age, race or gender.
