We are a typical village hall in the Abersychan area of Torfaen, Gwent. The hall is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers. Activities at the hall include Senior Citizens Group. Women's Institute(WI). Reiki therapy. Canine training. Spiritualist church which includes a meditation group and other church related activities. Table Top. Children's parties.

To collect and administer funds from street collections, public fairs, funeral donations, legacies and contributions and run fund raising public events. To apply income and capital to improve facilities and services of Brecon Hospital for the benefit of patients, former patients, staff and visitors where not provided by LHB/NHS.To provide these benefits to other activities assisting patients

The provision of attendance care and treatment of terminally ill persons.

Provision of six one bedroom flats at St. Giles Hospital, King Street, Wilton, for persons in need who are connected to Wilton.

The charity works by raising funds from voluntary sources within the Diocese of Guildford which are used to make grants to assist local churches and faith-linked organisations develop and sustain community projects. Projects cover a wide range of public sectors including education, youth work, mental health, community development and the relief of homelessness and poverty in the local area.

We are an independent & voluntary organisation and charity, providing caring & support in a homely & friendly environment to help and support people affected by cancer, their families & carers.

Provide transport for people in the rural area around Malmesbury Wilts where there is little or no public transport for people to visit hospitals, doctors, dentists etc, in Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Gloucester, Cheltenham.

THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL AMENITIES AND ENTERTAINMENTS FOR PATIENTS AND NURSING STAFF OF THE NEATH HOSPITALS.THE CHARITY UNDERTAKES A WIDE RANGE OF FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND ACTS AS AN ORGANISATION FOR RECEIVING DONATIONS. FUNDS ARE DISTRIBUTED ACCORDING TO NEED AND DECIDED UPON AT MONTHLY EXECUTIVE MEETINGS.

To provide welfare services to the blind and partially sighted within the local government districts of Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley.

The principal activity of the GMD continues to be that of the provision of means of social engagement and recreational activities, emotional and mental wellbeing, training and support for the Deaf and their friends. In addition the protection and promotion of the welfare and interests of the profoundly deaf in the three counties of Glamorgan, without religious or other distinction.

The charity supports local and international charitable objectives. This includes: support to international disasters and emergencies, eg. tsunamis, earthquakes: general humanitarian support, eg. distribution of medical equipment in the third world; support to local hospices, hospitals and disabled institutions and support to needy individuals.

The Comforts Fund is for the relief of patients at Montagu Hospital Mexborough who are sick,convalescent,handicapped or infirm; the provision of amenities in the hospital for patients & staff & generally in support of the charitable work of the hospital.

The Community Centre provides varied activities for the benefit of the community which we serve. These include - stroke club - computer club - children's disco - warm zone drop-ins - band rehearsals- church groups- - day carers group - disabled group - keep fit classes - social activities - rugby training and a meeting venue, activity groups and a gardening/social group.

PLACE OF WORSHIP, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, EDUCATION, SPORTS, YOUTH ACTIVITIES, HEALTH RAISE AWARENESS AMONG MUSLIMS OF ISSUES RELATED TO DRUGS AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES, BIRTH & DEATH RELATED ISSUES, PROVIDE COMMUNICATION LINK WITH HEALTH ORGANISATION RAISE AWARENESS OF MUSLIMS ISSUES. MATRIMONIAL PROVIDE COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT FOR MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE ISSUES

The provision of facilities for people to hire for private or public functions, activities workshops etc. Current hirers include short mat bowls, craft, fitness training, Kent County Council Day Opportunities Service, The Arts Society Canterbury, Asbestos Cancer Support group, womens institute, organ club and whist. Monthly bingo and dances.

Grants to buy shoes and clothes for children, who are sick or from families who have health problems

Sunday services and Alpha groups to help people discover more of Gods plan for their lives. We provide ministry and counselling to members and non-members and especially to people with broken lives. We provide healing prayer in connection with Birmingham Healing Rooms.

Tandem cycling for visually impaired people

Provision of transport for the needy and infirm who have no available friends, family or neighbours, to get to doctors surgeries, hospitals, dentists and other medical destinations in the local area.

The Robert Parker Charity through its Centre offers the elderly of Bloxwich and Blakenhall area, free of charge, a dementia cafe group for people living with dementia to provide reminiscence, stimulating activity and socialisation and two weekly groups providing cognitive stimulation therapy in a warm and friendly environment.

To advance the education of the public in the psychology of C.G. Jung.

The promotion and encouragement of education and research in Cardiovascular Surgery and Medicione at Charing Cross Hospital and its associated Medical Schools , to promote the study of Nursing and the award of prizes related to these activities

The Trustees hold the Trust Fund for the benefit of Sevenoaks School with a gift over to the Great Ormond Street Hospital, if the Trustees and the School Governors are unable to agree as to the application of the Trust Fund. The Trustees meet at least once a year to discuss the Trust's objectives and the School's needs and to decide on donations or loans to fund, for example, sports facilities.

A number of fund raising activities are undertaken, including a Fete, Coffee Mornings, Concerts,Quizs, receipt of donations and bequests,maintenance and leasing a Property,an annual Draw, Bingo,Flag days,sponsored walks etc.Funding is then allocated for the benefit of Patients of the local Bodmin Hospital.
