Arts Charities

The charity provides programmes which meet needs within the community. Facilities available include UK online centre providing IT education, parenting groups, support group for those caring for people with special needs, youth groups, coffee and cafe bars, play groups, exercise group for elderly. Adult literacy and numeracy classes,working with homeless. Also many short-term activities.

To publishing books within the field of Jewish studies, to prepare and manufacture these books to the highest editorial and production standards and to market them as effectively as possible throughout the world. All the books published are scholarly works which explain and perpetuate the Jewish heritage.

Worship has the greatest priority in the life of Christ Church. The closest of links are fostered with the church school. Considerable resources are put aside for a professional choir. Substantial repairs take place to conserve the fabric of the church and the PCC has designated as its main charity, the Diocese of Wiawso, a province of the Church of England in Ghana.

Moore Arts: Millom was established to promote and advance involvement, participation and access to the performing arts and associated art forms, especially for young people, in the North West of England but primarily in Cumbria and in particular, Millom and it?s surrounding areas. We offer a range of activities for ages 2+ including drama, dance, drumming, technical theatre and many more.

Provision of daycare centre services where disadvantaged members may learn arts and crafts skills or manufacture craft items for sale.

Maintenance of the Memorial Library at the Forum Norwich and the wing collections at various Libraries in Norfolk

We provide childcare/education to 52 children 2 yrs to 5yrs 50 weeks each year. We especially try to help families who wish to work, train, study to improve their situation in life. We provide extra curricula activities for children such as music and drama. We provide activities for parents so they can gain information to help their families

Organising inclusive activities such as educational talks, study circles, school and community visits, the celebration of religious festivals, producing and sharing accessible resources about Islam to foster mutual respect, learning, and a spirit of unity among all people, on its own or by collaborating with others.

Using the power of music, Grounded Sounds transforms the lives of young people aged 11 - 26 from London facing barriers (economic, social, cultural or otherwise) to pursuing their talent or creativity. Through a variety of free programmes, the charity provides high quality, creative experiences, developing musical talent, building confidence, life skills and improving career prospects.

The Congress Theatre objectives are:to provide, maintain, improve and advance education of the public in the arts and sciences; in particular the art and science of Theatre by presentation of public performances and other similar activities

Advancement of education in music and theatrical arts amongst young people aged 6 to 23. To give such young people the opportunity to act, sing and dance in at least one annual project.

Scherzo is a professional development platform for emerging artists, particularly classical singers. Scherzo offers a programme of performance and training projects to a cohort of performers.

Kidz R Us is an award-winning youth theatre company, dedicated to getting young people involved in the performing arts, to support their development and the wider community. Rave reviews and standing ovations are a bonus!We work with around 100 children, teenagers and young adults a year, and since 1994 have produced more than 100 shows and won numerous awards.

The objects of the Foundation are the advancement of ballet, dance and the performing arts by supporting the creation, development and performance of artistic productions; and the advancement of education by supporting practical training in and outreach activities related to ballet, dance and the performing arts and by developing public understanding and appreciation of these arts.

Charity's activities are demonstrated by the work carried out by Ahlulbayt TV on behalf of the Ahlulbayt Foundation, for example, encouraging religious harmony by promoting knowledge and mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs of different religions. Ahlulbayt TV has raised awareness about human rights and educating the public through a number of programmes commissioned by the charity.

The Foundation gives grants to professional writers working on a book, in order to help cover research expenditure or to buy time

Provide education and care for pre-school aged children, in an ofsted approved environment, in the Great Yarmouth area. Activities include; arts and crafts and learning through play. We also support children and families with special needs.
