Arts Charities

The Society, a charity for musicians run by musicians, provides grants and support to professional musicians and their families in need because of accident, illness or old age whether or not they are members. Founded in 1738 as the Fund for Decay'd Musicians, early members included Handel, Arne, Boyce and Sammartini. Today it maintains its tradition of responding swiftly to needs of colleagues.

The significant activities of the Club are coaching and competitions.

Gladstone's residential Library is a resource for theology/spirituality, history/current affairs and literary culture.

To defray the expenses of providing performances at Sadler's Wells Theatre, and to undertake a programme of refurbishment of the theatre

Romsey Mill's activities, enabling vulnerable and disadvantaged young people children and families to thrive, include intensive 1-to-1 support, early-years care & education, Children's Centre services, parenting courses, work in schools, detached youth work, interest-based group work (e.g. sport,arts,music), training and alternative education, IAG sessions, trips & outdoor residential experiences.

To promote and foster the study of economic science, by means of publications, the annual conference and helping further the study of economics via the annual public lecture and the postgraduate conference.

Promoting education in the North East of England, with particular reference to language, literature, philosophy, science, history, music and the fine arts by maintaining a library, providing educational lectures and events; raising funds by charging subscriptions and making other charges for the exclusive purposes of the charity and by such other charitable means as the charity may think fit.

Relief of poverty and hardship for those who have worked in the film, cinema or commercial television industries.

Our charitable activities fall into two categories.(1) Custodianship: of Dove Cottage; of our collection of manuscripts, books & fine art; and of the historic environment of Town End, Grasmere(2) Access and learning: visitor operations; exhibitions and publications; education; and contemporary literature.

The charity was formed in 2015 for, ?The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit among adults with learning disabilities who are socially excluded from society or parts of society as a result of their learning disability by providing them with projects and groups around theatre, drama and the arts to relieve the needs of those people and assist them to integrate into society.

This is achieved by supporting science educators, including trainees, teachers, technicians, initial teacher educators and others in the sector through conferences, journals and resources, curriculum and professional development programmes and contributions to research and policy debates.

BYMT is the UK's national organisation providing musical theatre activities for young people across the UK. It is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO). Its core programme links young people from their local/regional productions into formal training at drama school or conservatoire. BYMT also run a variety of other open access projects, courses and schools workshops.

Sheffield DocFest's mission is to advance the art of film, education and training in the art of documentary filmmaking. We offer filmmakers and artists a place for inspiration, debate, growth and challenge, providing an international platform to launch works as part of a carefully curated programme that challenges trends, brings diversity and enriches engagement.

The St Bride Foundation provides a cultural, social and educational facility in the west of the City of London. The Foundation is the home to the St Bride Library, the Bridewell Theatre as well as number meeting rooms and halls.

Celebration Church International exists to advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the entire public in the United Kingdom through broadcasting of Christian messages and music, holding prayer meetings and much more.We currently operate physically in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bolton and Glasgow on Sundays by 11am & Wednesdays by 6pm, and stream to other parts of the United Kingdom.
